和光荘 Harmonious Light West

Gorgeous decor, good size bedrooms and bathroom. Good communication and instructions, had everything you could need. Great location, a few minutes walk to restaurants, shop and train station.

The attic bedroom is very warm, with low ceiling and the futon is very thin and uncomfortable.

New, modern design with quality finishes. Very good AC in summer (except the loft,though it cooled off sufficiently by bedtime) Very convenient to Gora Station where you can store luggage before or after checkout. Other reviewers complained about the light limiting their sleep, but we had no issues.

Het huis is eigenlijk geschikt voor 4 personen. Op de bovenste verdieping kun je niet staan en het was er te warm om te slapen.

It was a modern, clean and attractive place to stay that was convenient for Gora town.

We found it difficult to sleep at night as the outside ambient lighting was really bright and the curtains were not thick enough to keep the light out. I wouldn’t want that to put people off but at least if you know this, you can bring eye masks to help you sleep. Otherwise, it’s a great place. 😊

Fairly large and easily fit a family of 4. Clean house with nice appliances and seems like a new property.

If you take the bus, it’s a 20ish minute hike from the bus stop to the property (not a huge deal, but it sucked walking up a ton of stairs in the pouring rain). The place seemed pretty clean, but some of the towels smelled like cigarettes.

The two proper bedrooms were very comfortable, with very soft beds and quilts. The bathroom and toilets were great and it was a clean house. Quiet neighbourhood with a short walk to the train station/bus stop. We didn't use the kitchen but it was really well stocked with appliances.

The loft bedroom was smaller/shorter than expected and not too comfortable for tall adults! Probably better suited for kids.

This apartment was very well equipped and comfortable. It was a short walk to the train station, a very good cafe for breakfast and coffee, and there is a lovely little place next door for dinner.

It wasn't possible to darken the bedrooms for sleeping as it only had light curtains, and it wasn't toddler friendly with very steep open stairs and no way to block them. We had a one year old and four year old in our group. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Beautiful house, 2 minutes walking to the Gora station.
