The property was dirty upon arrival took 2 hours for Cleaners to show up we have been contacting them for a month for our £300 damage deposit back and have not heard from them so have taken this further with advice as one of us works in a solicitors and have learn a lot about the company

They scammed me out my Deposit DO NOT BOOK

They have been dodging me for 2 months about my deposit keep saying tomorrow and tomorrow been 2 months , a bunch of scammers

Very poor communication from host. We didn’t get access as couldn’t get the keys as unwilling to pay deposit without being able to speak to someone. Very dirty on the outside with a huge amount of ru bush piled up by front door.

It was a good price but the area reflected that.

The fact that I’m still waiting for the deposit I paid them and it’s almost been a month… do not pay the deposit. Non responsive to messages regarding deposit.

The photos on the site

The place was falling apart and was not at all what it looked like in the photos. No tea and coffee No information about the area etc WiFi password they shared didn’t work. The house was cold and you couldn’t turn the heat up. It appeared you could but it was set at fixed temperature. We had to double up on duvets. They had a cheek to ask for £300 deposit for damages and didn’t sent it back as soon as the cleaners had been in and they arrived at 10am on day or check out. I’ve waited a week now. I took a video at the time of arrival to show all the issues.

Rooms were nice

No form of communication

Positives - cheap and rooms were clean (except the wall in main bathroom upstairs) Free on street parking (although concerns whether car would still be there in the morning) Walking distance (30mins) to city centre (although would not walk back at night) Mini market close by (Tesco express) Plenty of toilet roll

We have waited until our damage deposit was returned before posting a review. All I can say is this is cheap for a reason. This is not a ‘luxe’ accommodation. Before booking please consider that the Photos are not an accurate reflection of the property in its current state. See bin outside the front as just one example and also question why there was blue and white crime tape along back fence in the back garden: The area - on road approaching - one large fridge on path with smashed glass from shelves all over the pavement. Significant amount of rubbish on paths/green area near house House for sale on corner approaching, had a smashed window and load music when we arrived Check the crime stats online for this road and road at back for last 2-3 months For the owners and potential customers please also consider: No tea towels No door mat in porch entrance Dirty marks on some of the large white towels Only 3 forks for a property with 5 bedrooms Broken mirror downstairs toilet No where to sit to eat Numerous marks to the walls. Large hole in the floor tile (hallway) Blind pole broken in bedroom Skirting boards loose in rooms (mainly underneath radiators). Strong smell of damp - evidence of damp downstairs especially downstairs toilet/ shower room Upstairs bathroom - black wall covered in dust/dirt along skirting board (photos online show this was grey before-assume damp is reason why it’s been painted a mat black colour. Would recommend a gloss paint to help wipe down more easily.

Get what you pay for

Don’t like that they take a deposit then you have to badger them to return it. After several messages and phone calls it was returned but over 4 days after checking. Their excuse was they needed the cleaning report.

The Room was clean and comfortable .The bed was comfortable .It was nice place to go to bed for the night.

I was rather annoyed because I vacated the room before 10.00a.m, left my suitcase outside the room. I used thee service because i wet to the Conservative Conference in Birmingham. I went to the Conference on Wednesday morning, returned to the Luxe Inn and found that my suitcase had been removed. I rang up the mobile number for the property and the gentleman said he was going to deal with the problem, but as yet no dealt with my enquiry. T his has spoilt my stay.
