Decor and the fact that it was a quiet place to stay

Stone steps The front door at the top of the steps was stiff to open

This was a comfortable apartment that had everything needed. It was a good location for accessing the Northumberland coast.

There was no garden area for our dog.

Pretty modern but old building, nice beds, furniture, fittings. Really thick walls! Very quiet even though only half mile from A1. Good location to see coastal Northumbria or further afield. Owners didn't see, but did message, so fine.

Water pressure low. No private outdoor space, and parking tight, though another place on other side of building.

Excellent layout of the property, spacious and clean.

Facilities/ layout/ provisions / number of bathrooms- everything exceptional and will thoroughly recommend it. Position of property for access to beautiful Northumberland was perfect

Nothing- everything perfect

We loved this property. The location, the layout, the style, the decor, the comfort, the dual aspect views for sunrises & sunsets, absolutely everything was great. 2 bedrooms, 1 at either end with its own bathroom was perfect for travelling with a parent. We have had a fabulous week touring around beautiful Northumberland in glorious weather and it was a pleasure coming back to our loft to relax in the evening. Totally recommend and will definitely book again.

We stayed in the downstairs flat. There were lots of thoughtful touches like separate switches for the bathroom fan and the light, electric bathroom mirror, plenty of mugs, comfy sofa. The rooms look as good as they do in the photos with fabulous deep window ledges. Down sides were: the views from the windows of scruffy rural land, the company insisted on an extra payment for insurance (felt like a rip-off) and on arrival it wasn't clear where to put the car. I've attached a photo of info about parking that was in the pack inside the property but that info didn''t seem to be in any of the extensive blurb online. The parking spot is to the left of the defibrillator and to the left of a prominent "don't park on the drive" sign. You need to take your own shampoo. There is a handy little coop supermarket in a nearby village. The friendly cafe in the Village Hall opens at 10, so only works for a late breakfast.

Excellent location and facilities. Only small issue garden not connected to property.
