To use the hotel's free shuttle, call upon arrival at Gora Train Station or Sounzan Train Station. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. Children under 12 years old cannot stay at the property. Please note that rooms do not come with a bathtub although they are equipped with a shower and a toilet. Guests must walk to the hot spring facilities located outside the property to take a bath. The hotel has a curfew at 21:00. Guests cannot enter or leave the hotel after this time. If checking in after 19:00, please contact the hotel in advance. The hotel can prepare a boxed dinner upon request. -------------------- Guests with a tattoo may not be permitted to enter public bathing areas and other public facilities. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Exceptionnel, une magnifique parenthèse."

Nous avons adoré séjourner dans cet établissement, certes un peu cher, mais la qualité, l’accueil et le cadre sont au rendez-vous. Nous n’y avons passé qu’une nuit, mais ce fût une magnifique parenthèse zen aux trois quart de notre séjour pour nous ressourcer. Le onsen privé ne se trouve pas dans la chambre comme précisé dans le descriptif, mais facilement accessible et quel plaisir de s’y prélasser face à la nature !! Notre hôtesse pour la durée de notre séjour a été adorable et les repas absolument délicieux et raffinés, le petit déjeuner japonais à été une découverte !

Le lieu est magique, le personnel est exceptionnel Le bain particulier est magique Une parenthèse dans un pays en agitation constante Le repas etait excellent en mode très typique

Le petit déjeuner est un peu compliqué car local pas européen Mais ça ajoute au charme l’endroit

Stunning property and huge rooms with the sweetest staff! The location is perfection, quiet and peaceful but steps away from the ropeway and a bus station. The rooms were clean, the food was incredible, and the bed was better than ours at home! We wish all our hotel stays in Japan were like this!

Ryokan umiestnený v krásnom horskom prostredí. Súkromný onsen je bonus. Personál veľmi ústretový - napriek plnej obsadenosti dokázali zázračne vyriešiť chybu v našej rezervácii. Večera aj raňajky boli na úrovni michelin reštaurácie.

"Clean but the decor was a bit tired. The onsen in the wooden building was fabulous."

One of the onsen in the wooden building was excellent. It felt very outdoorsy.

One of the onsen within the main building which was slimy and dirty with broken hot water outlet. Rushed dinner service, so not enough time to savour the delicious beautiful food.

Excellent service. Very pleasant courteous and accommodating.

Husband didn’t like dinner provided very much. Although he enjoyed many different courses and presentation of each dishes, the meal itself was not to his liking. But he enjoyed the breakfast menu very much.

Yin who bought our meals was wonderful - she explained everything, talked to us about Japanese customs etc and made us feel incredibly welcome. Obviously the private onsen was magical, and loved that we could use it late at night/early morning if we wanted.

i wish the meal course was more substatial - have had better/more filling kaiseki elsewhere
