The lodge set up was fantastic, very spacious and clean. Perfect place for a little get away. Great location, easy to get in to the property and communication from the host prior to our stay was excellent.

The property is in a fantastic location and the surroundings are beautiful. The layout was great with plenty of room for the 3 of us and our dogs.

The property itself is a bit tired. Bed wasn’t comfortable, I felt like the mattress could be changed? We had a hot tub, however with it being open to the public, we felt like it could do with more privacy and high fence foot and lock so no one can get access other than whose who have booked the property. When my step child went to use the hot tub, there was empty glass bottles, which could be a hazard to her and my dogs. The owner was most apologetic for this. If dogs are staying I feel like a couple of separate towels could be provided especially when they are walking into the property just for a little clean down.

Very homely. & well presented with quality & comfortable furnishings & bedding. Lodge was warm & welcoming on arrival. Kitchen well equipped. View from lounge & location superb. Hot tub spacious & relaxing . Would highly recommend this Lodge

Nothing to dislike only a couple of observations. For a 1 night stay may I offer a recommendation. I was aware it was self catering accomodation and pleasantly surprised to see there was coffee & tea within the kitchen area on arrival which was a nice addition however only 1 tea bag & we were 5 occupants although plenty coffee. supplied. Additional bags would have been great & perhaps a couple of UHT milk pods & sugar sachets. These would be a simple but greatly appreciated gesture for those only staying 1 night.. Could I suggest it would be beneficial to have a soap dispenser in the bathroom as it is in the ensuite room.
