1) The rooms were really spacious, including the bathrooms 2) The staff were lovely - service could be a bit slow at times, but it was more than made up for by how attentive and caring everyone was 3) The food was delicious in both restaurants, consistently high quality 4) The whole place has a very cosy, home-like feel, like being welcomed as a guest at a wealthy relative’s mansion 5) The spa was great, with a sauna, hammam, and both indoor and outdoor pools

1) The fine dining restaurant, while excellent in quality and presentation, felt a bit light on portions. You may still be hungry after the starter, main, and dessert, though this might just be me as a big eater, my wife was happy with it 2) There’s no gym on site, which would have been a nice addition, though I understand that’s not something easily changed

Everyone’s super friendly, felt warm and welcoming, the garden was beautiful and the decor inside was stunning, swimming pools were very clean and lovely to be in

The property was surprisingly close to the centre of Bath making it the perfect luxury break!

Our reservation was on the Tuesday night when it was meals in the bar. They were nice but it was a limited choice very expensive for what we had.

Beautiful property and gardens. Welcoming and friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious. Games to play in the lounge were great fun. Spa facilities were lovely.

Indoor pool is a little bit small but I was still satisfied!
