Comfortable bed, bathroom Charming cottage in lovely location, surrounding area very beautiful Adequate throws for warmth if needed

No wifi/TV - not made aware when booking Inadequate lighting - Light fitting not working at top of stairs, insufficient bulbs in fittings that did work. No instructions regarding turning heating on Lounge furniture v. uncomfortable for older people. Kitchen frying pan should be replaced

Lovely location and property had many indearing features. Overall enjoyed our stay.

No communication with host when asked about WiFi and use of TV. Need to sort TV and internet! Property needs some minor upgrades. No light for stairs. Electrical connections erratic and in need of attention!

Nice location/relatively quiet spot

No internet on arrival - this was rectified with a mobile hotspot device provided later that evening, but due to the poor signal in the area, this was not very effective (speed check fluctuated between 1 and 2mb speeds). No microwave (which was listed on property facilities page). Frying pan bottom was bowed slightly outwards so it sat on the hob like a spinning top. Lights did not work on landing - we tried a bulb which we knew to be working but this did not work. A damaged lamp in one of the bedrooms had been poorly repaired and my wife nearly cut her hand while trying to find the on/off switch. Light in bedroom had no bulb, so we tried the working lightbulb but the bedroom (ceiling) light could not be turned off, so we left it as we found it without the bulb. Backyard is extremely tiny (I thought from pictures that it was a big garden, but that was just the view from the back of the house). Being an old cottage all the doorways were extremely low (although I did not notice this in the property description) - and especially without a landing light was a pain for me as I kept banging my head (I am 5' 11" and the doorways must be around 5' 6" approx). All in all, this i a nice property but needs some TLC and electrical work doing, and a much better description on the booking pages. Was not good value for money.

Loved how cozy the cottage was. It was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. Check-in was really easy too

Maybe some tea bags

I would just suggest maybe having a welcome pack for guests with the closest shops/takeaways.

Maybe a mirror in the bedroom for brushing hair etc but that really is a very minor point and did not in any anyway spoil the visit
