Impressive property in a great location easy to find just look for the spire

Was not obvious which door to enter when first arrived as there was no number or name on it but we worked it out. The Wi-Fi was not working as there was no cable for the chargeable extender however we had a phone cable which worked, although the signal was poor when not close by.

The size of property was great, the location to the centre of the town was excellent.

Door locks didn’t work properly. Iron had the ring fuse and didn’t work. The side door doesn’t seal properly and wind was howling through it. Dirty behind the sofa. No little welcome pack of essentials. Beds are not the most comfortable, mattresses could be much better. No ironing board. Off road parking was great. The place needs a little more thought, stunning to look at, however, a little TLC would go a long way.

"Spacious but Unclean"

5.0

The accommodation has a spacious lounge area downstairs and a good sized TV with apps such as Netfilx. The interior balcony from the master bedroom offers a charming view of the living space downstairs. The proprietors provided us with fans, two kitchen hand towels, and two small hand washing soaps (for 3 bathrooms) upon request. Crowland itself and the surrounding areas have much to offer including a 8th century abbey, a technological museum, a shopping outlet, a cathedral and for 'Whoovians' an unofficial but brilliant Dr Who exhibition (ends November 2025).

The property has been beautifully converted into a house, but it was not a home. There were spider webs throughout the property. We found the kitchen and the lounge area with the matching sofas to be unacceptably dirty. There seemed to be debris (small bits of mud (?), slivers of wood, etc.) under and on the sofas in the lounge area and on the rug underneath the coffee table as well as along the door opening of the upstairs ensuite. The kitchen floor had at least one dead spider. The cooker top was dusty and boasted a dead bug as well as a spider web. Similarly, the glass topped dining table in the kitchen was dusty and the accompanying four (wobbly) chairs were sprinkled with detritus from previous meals. As we were a group of five in an accommodation sleeping six people, at least one more chair would have been appreciated. We spent ten minutes scrubbing a very dirty frying pan but luckily found a fairly clean sauce pan to use, saving us from having to clean the other very dirty sauce pan. The oven and grill were also unclean but thankfully we had taken our own baking trays and did not have to use the ones we found. As the lounge area is very spacious and empty, it could have easily accommodate a table and chairs with enough seating for six guests, rather than the small glass table squeezed in at one end of the kitchen. Although our email mentioned that we could use the 'garages' which were on the grounds of the property, the neighbour warned us away as one was used by his wife, whilst he himself used the second one! Again, luckily there was enough space for us to park our car on the gravel driveway.

"Spacious comfy property at a good price"

9.0

Spacious with comfy beds, ample towels and good showers . Plenty of parking right in front of the property. A large kitchen with lots of work surface. 3 bathrooms is a big plus . Lots of electrical sockets close to all beds . Crowland has 2 good sized supermarkets close by .

There is no full length mirror, only small mirrors in the bathrooms . I bought an extension reel to use my hairdryer.

"Wedding stay"

8.0

We really enjoyed the space! Was lovely and big. Bedding was fresh and clean, and nice touch with the towels! Plenty space for multiple cars.

Did advertise as 3 double beds and a single, but it was 2 doubles and 2 singles. It did have a table that would seat 4 so not our full party but didnt bother us really as were there for a wedding and not actually in the apartment much. The house was super hot! Wouldve liked a way to cool down but none of the windows in the main space had curtains but again wasnt the end of the world.
