"Could be so much better"

8.0

The space was fantastic for us, with enough bedrooms for our family of 5. Good location with some small local shops nearby and outdoor space for the children to burn off some energy. Really quiet area (weekend, weekdays may be nosier as there is a school behind the house). Easy to find and parking onsite.

The floors were filthy, our socks were brown within minutes of walking around. The blinds were ok in the upstairs bedrooms, however with the windows open, it was very light. The downstairs bedroom had one curtain that didn't quite fit across the French doors in situ, and didn't cover the huge window that went to the ceiling so it was extremely light. The dining table only had 4 chairs, and one of these had a bent leg so we couldn't use it. There wasn't any washing up liquid, but dishwasher tablets were available. The fridge was dirty. The previous people had left some food in one of the kitchen drawers, and there was a bin bag of rubbish left outside. The downstairs toilet was grubby and there were quite a few hairs. Lots of cobwebs everywhere. The garages weren't for this property and our car got covered in bird poo. The WiFi stopped working around 7:30am on our departure day. The upstairs windows were mostly velux and had safety attachments so you could barely open them, it was 31 degrees outside on the Saturday of our stay and boiling hot in the upstairs of the house with barely any windows and no fans or anything. It was unpleasant to say the least. Cigarette ends and rubbish outside the "back" door, on the gravel where you park. Couldn't use the outside space as there wasn't anywhere to sit. No hand soap available or tea towels.

"Unique and charming"

10.0

We loved the location - exploring the local area and were lucky to drop on a festival weekend. We loved the house and all of the space and light! It is such an interesting place and 3 bathrooms was a treat :) It was the perfect house for hide and seek!

The sofas have clearly been well used and both were a little bit broken. We had to use the sofa bed to have enough seating. Just be aware that there is no coffee, tea, washing up liquid, oil, salt and pepper etc Not come across that in the dozens of places we have stayed all over the world - needed a trip to the Co-op to stock up.

"Sort the curtains and we would certainly return if we are in the area."

9.0

Dimensions of the property were excellent

No curtains in the bedrooms. Internet seemed to be disconnected at 20.30 the night before we left.

"Lovely house, only issue is sleeping which is quite important"

6.0

No curtains/blinds, so as soon as daylight arrives 5am all the bedrooms are lit up and difficult to sleep

"Definitely will book again."

8.0

The house was amazing, very clean, rooms were great sizes. So minimal which made is feel fresh. The area was calm and friendly. Soo spacious. Lovely kitchen. 3 bathrooms very clean and spacious.

No blinds or curtains which was frustrating as the master room had an outside neighbours porch light shining thru the whole night, didn't have privacy if neighbours were in there garden. The house needs a good dusting as cobwebs are everywhere. Could do with more cleaning products. No seats in the garden area. The WiFi wasn't good kept turning off every few hours, and Didn't cover the whole house.
