Lots of space with a beautifully well equipped kitchen . The beds were very comfortable with high quality bedding . Ideal family accommodation. Easy walking to an interesting village centre. Good instructions for key access . Parking close to front door.

Blinds in the bedroom would be good plus mirrors to be able to do makeup/hair .

Beautifully redone old Victorian school building with character. Something really different! Three separate bathrooms. Very clean. We came over Christmas and there was a decorated Christmas tree waiting. Off-road parking facilities. Located in nice, historic little market town with some pubs/restaurants. Good location to explore the surrounded area by foot for walks or by car to visit bigger towns/sightseeing in the area (Stamford, Market Deeping, Peterborough, Lincoln, etc.). Would definitely come again if travelling in this area.

Overall we had a great time in this special place. Just some practical things which need some attention to make the house even more cosy and comfortable, and which can be solved quite easily. Mind the fact that the holiday home can accommodate people, there are only four dining chairs and a tiny round dining table. The dining area is in a narrow corner in the kitchen, which was even for our company of four quite crammed. There is a big unused space in the lounge area where a big dining table with eight chairs would easily fit and would make the space look less empty at the same time. No instructions on: - where to put the waste and how to separate the waste - how to operate the kitchen equipment - how to change the timer of the heater. Heating only came on for a short time in the morning and for a few hours in the evening. Not very comfortable when you stay inside during the day in mid winter. We managed to find out how to override the heating, but it was far from obvious. - There is no continuous subscription to WiFi, it works with a sort of credit system. When we came there was no balance on the card, so someone of the rental agency had to come by the next day to sort it out. Worked in the end though. The kitchen a bit meagerly equipped. No coffee machine, no cutting boards. A bigger sauce and/or frying pan and oven dish would be helpful as well. No tea towels.
