The caravan

We arrived at this accomodation to find it occupied. A phone call to the owner revealed she had emailed me at noon on the day of arrival( who is watching there phone on the way to there holiday, and too late to complain) to tell us we had been upgraded to a brand new lodge which is by the way another caravan and even though it was brand new there were dirty wet wipes behind a cushion and someone's socks in the wardrobe, also a frozen butter fingerprint in freezer also on finding the 'lodge' it was up a hill, that may sound petty but the original van we booked was in a location which suited my 85 year old husband with mobility issues. We had stayed at this site last year and were up the hill, which is why we particularly booked this one at a lower level . My son and family had booked nearby us and the same thing happened to them, guess what , same owner but they had more notice than us (a couple of hours) After a bit of a battle they got a refund and managed to get another van l near the amenities for my young grandson. Apparently the owner has more than one caravan. The one advertised is in a great location but on the day moves you to one further up the hill which nobody would book if they had mobility issues or needed to be nearer amenities. Came home early totally ruined our stay. Steer clear totally out of order.

Lovely new property ,fantastic stay with all site facilities operational . Have booked again for September. Read some reviews on this site and some people don’t deserve to stay in nice facilities

We actually had an upgrade to a different caravan, so the pictures and feedback are related to 1A Lune Park. Communication was superb, caravan was superb! Decor was extremely tasteful. Absolutely perfect!

Loved the location of the caravan. Lovely clean and comfortable caravan.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

Only things I had a problem with was the vacumm. I used it once for 2 minutes and had to put it away and open all doors and windows. It absolutely stunk of dog. Also, when we booked we wasn't made aware that they wouldn't be any entertainment on during our stay. The receptionist stated that all caravan owners at ocean edge should be making their customers aware of no entertainment at the park before going ahead with booking. I have 3 kids and had to use the caravan just for sleeping in as we had to be up and out to go elsewhere to entertain the kids etc.
