The caravan itself was lovely

Blatant false advertising there were no site facilities they burnt down back in September however they took a booking and never let us know. Despite booking .com trying they refused to refund any money the overpriced stay was on a site in the middle of no where with absolutely no on site facilities.

The site facilities were all closed following a fire in September 2024. Unfortunately we weren't made aware of this prior to our arrival. Had we known, we would have booked elsewhere. Owners & Booking.com have so fair failed to acknowledge my complaint made about this. Towels & bedding provided were dirty.

Caravan was clean and just what two 60+ people needed. Two toilets useful and heating and hot water worked fine. Toilet rolls, washing up liquid, tea towel all provided. Enjoyed sitting out on decking but glad we took our own chairs. It’s three rows back so it’s a distant, partial sea view but sun all afternoon and evening as you face the sea.

Bit tricky to find but we did a few circuits to track it down. We weren’t informed that there are no facilities on site. We were walking round looking for an on site shop when some owners chatted to us and said the facilities are opening mid June. (Owners gain access one week before) Park very quiet even though it was bank holiday which I’m assuming was due to lack of anywhere for children to go onsite.

The park facilities were shut due to a fire so no shop or bar and food were available so had to drive to get food.

Leaking radiators on arrival, we kept a bowl underneath them and had to frequently empty them. The caravan is situated on a park dean's resort, and we assumed that the facilities of the park would be available to use. The owner does not advertise the park facilities, but I thought it would have been courteous of them to inform us that all facilities were shut. The park don't advertise that they had suffered a fire and told us on arrival that they advised to all owners every month on the status, and that they should inform renters. The owners said the park were not updating them on the status. Anyway, disappointed children with no swimming or entertainment.

Central heating broke down on the Sunday night. We had to leave early
