Very nice lodge Staff very helpful Would stay again

The Lodge was beautifully and tastefully decorated. All necessary equipment supplied. A little trouble with patchy WiFi but not the owners fault. Loved the location, particularly going into Heysham village; the power plant is all everyone talks about but ignoring that the surrounding area and its beaches are wonderful. Thank you.

The location, great for the coast at Heysham and Morecambe, but close enlugh to the Lakes, we did 2 mountains

The confusion around the pool, I was told at reception that General Swim was free for anyone, but without the ownsrs card staying in a privately owned caravan, it would have cost over £60 for a swim for 2 adults and a child. I think this should be made clear

Nothing it was all fine

We returned for the second year in a row after a lovely stay last year. The location of 32 Bayview is amazing. Situated on a quiet & relaxed part of the caravan park. Views for miles. Partial see view. Lovely on a night. The main bed is super comfortable. Loads of pillows. Plenty of towels. Hand soap & washing up liquid provided with a cloth & dish towel. Bleach in the toilets & sprays under the sink too. Decking area is spacious. Two toilets, makes life easier.

The red chairs on the decking are an eye sore. They are old, not comfortable, the wood is rotting away & they could be doing with an upgrade. They don’t give the caravan a good first impression. On arrival we found a dead fly that hadn’t be cleaned properly. Not a pleasant sight. There was also a hair on the sink. Again, not pleasant esp since it was just cleaned. The freezer had left over ice poles & bags of ice in the drawers. Unsure of how long they were there. Freezer drawer also cracked. The sofa bed couldn’t be accessed to be used which was disappointing. It is stuck under at one side. So probably shouldn’t be advertised as sleeping more people than it can until this issue is fixed. The single beds aren’t great if you are over 5ft. The couch isn’t comfortable anymore. Almost feels like you are sitting on the frame. This is clearly the cause of the problem with the sofa bed, it’s just worn down at one side after a lot of use. The WiFi is quite poor. We purchased WiFi £18 for 4days after the caravan WiFi ran out but because the park was getting busier towards the end of the week more often than not it wasn’t very good & kept buffering especially Netflix. We stayed during a heat wave (out with anyone’s control) but it made our stay very uncomfortable as the caravan was roasting. Food was melting. Perhaps the addition of a few fans (during summer months) could have helped.

It was clean , comfortable, and spacious, and I stayed there with my daughter and granddaughter. She loved the tv options . Thank you again xx

Had a problem with the key box but was soon sorted. I have a problem with my fingers, so it was probably my fault
