"Great house for a family stay, plenty of room and very good facilities"

Lovely size cottage 2 children, parents,uncle, grandparents Brilliant location for Alton Towers and Trentham monkey forest Hot Tub was a great size, seats 8 easily, swing & slide in garden was useful Used the goldfish bowl chip shop 1 night which was close and good food Plenty of crockery for us all Great stay would recommend Tollgate House

Just the one loo available in the bathroom but we managed ok

"Mum's night off"

The hot tub was fantastic! We spent most of the afternoon and evening in there relaxing. Loved the lights on the evening. The living room was cosy and comfortable beds. Everywhere was really clean.

The house was great just what we needed. It was handy for Alton Towers. We all loved the hot tub for relaxing in at night. We would definitely go back.

"Excellent stay"

Lovely house that was very clean and in a great location especially for alton towers. Hot tub amazing and swing set a bonus for kids.

Nothing we disliked, we did try to contact regarding no remote in entertainment room on day of arrival but got no reply also we found 5 or 6 ants during our stay mainly in kitchen and back hall. This didnt put us off but may need to look into this due to style of back door and treat before summer.

"Ok but very pricey"

It was clean and tidy. The Christmas tree was a lovely touch.

No welcome pack (not even a pint of milk) which given the price we would have expected. Electric fire rather than a log burner which I’d expect in a property of this type. The decor didn’t suit the age or style of the house. It didn’t feel particularly welcoming overall and was very noisy from traffic at times. We were too worried about breaking one of the many rules to even use the hot tub really so didn’t bother.
