Tollgate House - Luxury Cozy Cottage - HUGE Hot Tub - Alton Towers

Beautiful house in a beautiful location. Great getaway for a couple, the house would easily accommodate very large families or multiple adults/kids. I have never seen a hot tub that big in my life! You could almost swim :) Nice host and easy to deal with. Would stay again and bring my kids too.

The only thing that was decent about this stay was the kitchen and bathroom besides that terrible

Absolutely disappointed 😞 hot tub wasn't working. I couldn't get through to the host. Eventually, when we did, a lady spoke who spoke very little english and told us her phone was in the mobile shop, hence why she never responded for almost the whole day. Eventually, after multiple lies from the host, she agreed for us to be refunded for a day, but so we decided to check out and now two weeks on no refund if i could somehow show screenshot on here i would love to express the amount of lies and lack of concern from the host. Also this is very, very close to a main A road which had lorry passing all night quiet noisy. Also, as you walk in the doors on the smallest hole near the door where we saw mouse coming out of!!! Strictly wouldn't recommend for families.

everything was amazing, really good stay. everything was up to good standards clean wise and the amount of resources in the cottage will definitely be coming again.

Absolutely fantastic from beginning to end, was only here for one night and we have all agreed we cannot wait to come back again. Cottage was warm upon arrival and spotless. Hot tub was ready and warm when we arrived. Had everything you need and more, if you are looking for a good escape and love waking up to the countryside, then this is a an absolute gem. Thank you so much we can't wait to return!!

All the facilities were very good. The hot tub was my favourite.

There is a vase at the back of the house and it was already broken. We didn’t use that area at all. But the owner messaged us telling that we damaged that item. Whereas we never did it.

The property had a large hot tub and overall was clean in general. Good location for Alton towers.

Please note the quiet times in the property are 9-7. They threaten to attend and evict you if you don’t comply, a little oppressive with the quantity of messages and warnings prior to arrival and during the stay. We couldn’t enjoy the hot tub on night one due to fear of being removed and arriving late. The property needed a little TLC in places. The upstairs bedroom window didn’t shut, and the noise was audible all night - this just needs fixing. I don’t think the hot tub water was changed prior to our arrival, with the jets on it quickly bubbled into a thick foam. The property is situated directly on a busy road. Appears CCTV overlooks the rear of the property and ring doorbell on the front.
