Lavish 4BR Apartment in the Heart of CPH by The Canals

The apartment was clean, warm, spacious and very well equipped. Its location was ideal to explore Copenhagen.

It was fine for a family holiday, but the kitchen and bathroom were accessed through one of the bedrooms, so it wouldn’t be ideal if it was being shared by couples.

While the property looks beautiful in the photos and the location is wonderful, it is not worth the price. Things need to be fixed and items added to make it functional.

Here’s our list: 1. The Oven ranks inside of the oven were broken, making it unusable. 2. There was ONE set of utensils- we were a family of five. We purchased some wooden utensils to leave behind for the next visitors. 3. The large couch was slanted and the metal legs were bent making it hard to sit on properly. 4. There were stained pillows inside of the hallway closet- found when we went searching in every drawer and closet for utencils… 5. The heat would work in spurts, sometimes it was okay, other times it was like being in a furnace. Even when we tried to lower the heat it didn’t help much. 6. We knew there was one bathroom- fine, but it SMELLED like sewage no matter how often we would flush the toilet in the morning and then during the day. 7. A microwave would have been nice since the oven wasn’t useable & we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the vent hood to use the stove top. We ate a lot of 7 Eleven food due to staying from Dec 24-26th. My hope of cooking a proper Christmas dinner just wasn’t possible during our stay :( Thankfully Tivoli was open and a 20 min walk. Would I stay here again, yes! If the issues were fixed and things weren’t broken. We’ve stayed in worse places during our travels and time living in the Middle East.

Magnificant location. Close to everything.

Only one toilet/bathroom for 8 persons is NOT ENOUGH! Also a problem that You have to walk THROUGH the biggest bedroom to get to the bathroom.

Great location, within walking distance of the city centre as well as main sights and attractions. There were plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and the apartment was nice and warm. We travelled with a baby and previous reviews stated the cot was in the hallway however it had been put into a bedroom on our visit which was great

On arrival all dirty bedding and rubbish had been left directly outside the door which made it difficult to get up the stairs and into the apartment with a baby and all our luggage. Small bedroom with bunk bed, beds were uncomfortable despite all the other beds being very comfortable. No microwave in the kitchen to sterilise baby bottles and could not find any cutlery, despite the kitchen being equipped with loads of other kitchenware
