The whole property was not clean I had to clean it myself Everything wasn't cleaned properly except the bathroom were just fine. The sheets were not clean. The rest of the rooms and seating area were dusty with left overs like a bag of crisps in the second-floor bedroom inside the side table drawer.
GBThis was a lovely cottage. we really loved the modern and light beautiful decor and the good central location.
Just the carpet in the living room smelt a bit like a dog had stayed .but other than that, everything was perfect

There’s nothing we didn’t like. As most accomadation in Whitby comes without parking by there is parking close by.

Cleaning of the cottage was ok, more attention needed on hoovering, cleaning of the floors, dusting and sofa needs a deep clean.

Basic Facilities lacked , no kitchen roll, no tea towels, no coffee pods even there they had a coffee pod machine , no foil. Comparing to other places similar i’ve visited they have usually always stocked these items especially due to it being self catering , this would have added an extra point for me. There were also some dirty marks in the kitchen which I easily wiped up , didn’t think the floor had been mopped or cleaned properly in that area. A dirty glass was also left in the top bedroom. Those issues plus also from previous places i’ve visited sometimes they leave a welcome gift like pack of biscuits, coffee pods, bottle of something etc. This is the reason why I have rated 8/10.
