Cosy and comfy place, very Japanese style. The owner is super helpful. He arranged everything for our stay in Arita.

Nothing, it was perfect

The space is very well designed with all the things you need! It is located right in the middle of the town and it has a parking lot too! We were three and slept comfortably! The house is composed by an entrance/kitchen (with free coffee and tea ❤️) a bathroom area (toilet / shower / laundry machine) and the main room (bedroom / livingroom). The host was very nice and I would stay again in this house If I come to Arita anytime soon

Nothing in special

The house was beautiful and the surroundings were all so beautiful. Staying at the guest house was a lovely experience, it was your own space and so peaceful. The tatami room overlooked the pond and trees. Shin-San was so helpful and very quick to answer questions and help us. All the people we met in Arita were so sweet and nice to chat with. Traveling is easy from Kami Arita however hiring a car would help you save time and help you do more activities in a day.

That we had to leave.

It was a very traditional and authentic Japanese guesthouse. The host welcomed us with great hospitality and even cooked us a delicious breakfast upon knowing that we were looking for restaurants in the morning.

This hotel is a typical Japanese style accommodation. It is very comfortable having a lounge and kitchen where you can sit western style but still is typically Japanese. It also looked onto a quaint little garden. It is in the middle of the porcelain street in Arita if that is what you are going there for. The owner is very helpful and speaks English if required. Some nice little temples and porcelain museums around. Short taxi ride from the station or quite a long walk. A nice quiet place to stay.

It would have been nice if a small breakfast was offered.

This is a mervellous little garden-house, in the garden of Shin Kuyama, an outstanding and internationally recognised artist fm Arita, who is very friendly.

Being able to stay in this beautiful house was a treat. It was nice to realize the different wat of living. The owners, both pottery artist, made me feel welcome and even treated me with a tasty breakfast.

Very large space for Japanese standards.
