Holiday Inn Express & Suites Nashville West End - Univ Area by IHG

I was so disappointed our room wasn’t clean. Only the sheets were changed. Our stay was 4 days. Unbelievable rates for valet parking, so for that we won’t be staying there again. We’ve stay at more upscale hotels and the rate was never that high. That’s unacceptable

The young lady that checked us in, Destanie was very pleasant! The chaise is very nice. Just to have somewhere to sit instead of bed only. The bright lights in front of the full length mirror were nice when getting ready

Bed was lumpy and had a hump in the middle of it which made you “roll down hill” the entire night. Breakfast was just ok. A lot of options. However a lot of the hot food was undercooked and cold.

Room was good, location too

People at the reception and the parking were straight up rude for no reason whatsoever. Cleaning personnel seem understaffed so even though they did a good job, sometimes you come back to the room after the day and the room hasn't been cleaned yet

The staff was excellent, including the valet. We were close to the hospital where I had cateract surgery. The next day, we were close to Broadway and enjoyed lunch and music. The room was clean and nicely accommodated. Very happy with our stay.

The room was comfortable and clean.

We arrived this hotel around 10:20 PM and waited more than 10 minutes to have somebody showed up at front desk to check us in. There was no staff showed at the lobby and front desk when we arrived, but only a note described the staff will be back in a short period of time. The phone rang couple of times and nobody answered it while we were waiting for the check in. We wondered how the hotel responding to any emergency situations happened. Meanwhile, the valet parking costed customer $54 per night, and nobody showed up when we arrived. The whole arriving process was very disorganized and unreliable. When I addressed my concerns after we checked in, the front staff asked if I am the IHG member? I asked why, and she said it will help me to earn points and she did not provide any answer to my concerns at all. We stayed at many different Holiday inn Express locations in the past and this location is the most disorganized facility. Expecting the lowest safety standards if you decide to stay here in case of any emergency.

Absolutely no complaints

The hotel is located in a quiet area close to Centennial Park and about 10minute drive from Broadway. The hotel was modern, clean throughout and the beds were comfy. Hotel staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. There was 24/7 coffee in the lobby, the outdoor pool was on 2nd floor which was also clean with towels provided and great breakfast offers; Enrique was always cheery in the morning!! There is off street parking at about $10 per day using App and valet parking which fluctuated about $45 per day, we did receive a parking violation as one of the machines was not working, we were wrongfully informed by residents and website Sunday was free parking. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again

The only downfall was the amount of plastic used but this is throughout the States we visited and not only to this hotel.
