Was perfect home from home . House was clean and had all we needed for a weekend stay . Was lovely to arrive to fresh bread, milk eggs and cookies . Lots of little touches that made us feel welcome . Great garden with patio area Took train to Edi 10 mins & also visited Porobello beach .

So beautiful place, very quiet, lovely place and garden. Very clean, nice bedroom, kitchen and patio. Fresh fruits, juice in fridge. Caffe and biscuits left for us. I love it. Best place ever been. Close to train station, not far to beach and to shop. It’s lovely place. Will definitely come back. Very quick responses for my question. 5*

Everything was perfect

I had a wonderful stay at this property! It was in a fantastic location, just a short walk to the beach and only five minutes from the nearest train station. Getting to Edinburgh city centre was incredibly easy, just one stop away, making it perfect for exploring. The property itself was neat, tidy, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for convenience and a great location!

Lovely, clean modern home. Very comfortable. Very spacious. Really felt like home from home and you wasn’t in a strangers home. Love the private garden and wood burner. Couldn’t want for anything.

The house was very cozy and comfortable and the hosts were nice. It was very nice that they prepared some drinks along with eggs in the fridge as well as some bread and cookies for us to have something for breakfast in the morning. Coffee machine with loads of pods was also available in the well equipped kitchen. And very sweet of the host to even prepared snacks and dog wine for our doggie (but sadly our dog didn't know how to appreciate the "wine" lol). It was a nice stay for the family.

The property was close to Brunstane station, so it was convenient to travel into central Edinburgh. It was quite spacious too but overall we were quite disappointed with our stay and felt it was not value for money. Enclosed back garden which was good for our two family dogs and off road parking.

The hosts did not think to put the heating on for us ahead of our arrival, on what was a cold day. We had to ask and then someone went over to switch on the heating. The fresh loaf they left was a white Mother’s pride and it had even been reduced. It was superficially clean. I had to wash glasses and a saucepans… The towel rail in the bathroom was dusty along with the tops of plug sockets etc . The radiator in our bedroom was boiling hot and we couldn’t reduce the temperature because it was broken. It was lacking in maintenance. The coffee machine overflowed every time a coffee was made. The garden furniture needed re varnishing. For what we paid and in comparison to our stay near York the night before, it could not be compared. Disappointing:(

the hosts are so kind and give us lots of help, it let me feel warm during the cold weather in Edinburgh. Highly recommend to book here
