Hale Hahalua - Serenity and Ocean Views in Kailua-Kona at Keauhou Akahi

Felt like home with every little detail/touch provided. It was exactly what I hoped it would be… a comfortable home base to explore and experience the “big” island. We really appreciated the thoughtfulness that was evident in all the amenities.

High-quality apartment with excellent amenities for accommodation. Peaceful surroundings and a nice sea view from the terrace. Frankly, I recommend the apartment to everyone traveling here, if it is available in terms of booking.

We had a wonderful stay on the Big Island at Hale Hahalua - the property is ideally located for the activities we were interested in - primarliy snorkelling and its pretty amazing. The condo has every thing you could possibly want for a short or long stay and is very comfortable BTW , don't miss the night manta ray snorkle - it goes out from just around the corner. We really loved our stay and hopefully will be back soon . thanks..

Perfect stay

Extremely well appointed condominium with everything you need. Very tastefully done.

Need to be aware that it is on the third floor without an elevator.

Out of all the places we’ve stayed throughout the Hawaiian islands over the years this is hands down our favorite. Conveniently located about 30 min from the airport and 15 min from downtown. There is a grocery store and pharmacy about 5 min up the road. Right above the bay where we had a wonderful manta ray night snorkeling excursion. The apartment itself is spacious with such thoughtful touches and it is also beautifully decorated with local art. It has all the supplies you could need for beach adventures - snorkeling, umbrella and chairs. We loved being able to cook meals and store food in the full kitchen. Breakfast on the lanai every morning was a wonderful way to start the day. The apartment had good ventilation and the AC in the bedroom worked great. It was nice to have two full bathrooms and the washer/dryer was perfect after five days of excursions to the mountains and beaches. The small library of books related to Hawaii and Hawaiian games were also a nice touch. Apartment was spotless and it is located in a quiet, residential area. Communication with hosts was thorough and efficient. Would recommend to all our friends and would return.
