"Disgusting place. DO NOT BOOK!!"

The property was in a disgusting state. When I arrived I couldn't access the keysafe or contact the host. At the back of the property all of the windows and back door were fully wide open. On entering the property I found that the beds were not made, there were dead insects in the bath and sink and the toilet was disgusting. There was loads of post stacked up in the front hall. I was definitely in the right property as the tiles in the bathroom matched the ones shown on the property listing. I have phoned booking.com many times to try and get a refund but I keep getting fobbed off. They say they have contacted the host and a refund has been refused and there is nothing they can do. I wasted £215 booking this property. I have added some photos which are not very clear because they are stills from a video I took. I have also added the pathetic response that I received from booking.com. The customer service was really bad.

"Terrible"

The host refused to respond to us when we got there. No instructions in how to enter the house. Will not answer their phone. Terrible experience. I was stranded

The host is not responsible. Did not even have the decency to answer the phone.

"It was the worst place I’ve ever stepped foot in ever to be honest with you."

I was not able to get into the property as the owner gave me the wrong PIN number

The whole experience as once we was in the property there was stacks of letters and bugs in the bed bathroom and kitchen

"No communication"

We arrived at 4:30. Had asked since 11am if could get keys early as most people flew in from south africa in the morning. Called when arrived no answer had to call multiple times until someone answered. We were told couldn't access property and that someone had been trying to contact me (not true). Then was told would try find alternative place. Took over an hour. We were given another place to stay. This impacted other arrangements we had made. We arrived at the alternative place, while it was nice, there was no wifi and on the Monday someone banging on door saying we supposed to have checked out. Our booking was up to the Tuesday. The property we were ment to stay at did not communicate with the alternative place or myself on anything and left it to the last minute. It made what was supposed to be a family break start on a very stressful and uncomfortable situation.

The lack of communication and the blatant lie about trying to contact me

"We had a very bad experience with this property!"

Everything! Our friends arrived on the day of check-in, but when they got to the house they couldn't even open the door with the key provided. We tried to contact the owner - he ignored my partner's calls and only picked up when I called. He then admitted that the property should not have been rented out at all because it was not suitable due to a broken boiler. He promised a refund, but no money has been returned to this day. Most importantly, we were not informed in advance that the property was uninhabitable. If we hadn't contacted the owner ourselves, we would have never known about the problem! This was extremely unprofessional and stressful. I strongly advise others to avoid this property.

"CRAP CUSTOMER SERVICE - SHODDY PROPERTYS"

Staff DO NOT reply to calls or messages. Got to the property after work to find the boiler in peices and obviusly no hot water Tried multiple times from around 4 to contact them but didn't get a call back until arround 8.30 at ight to be moved to a different property. They mentioned the parking would cost money and said they would sort it withe the car park Yet again many more ignored messages and calls as the car park had no idea who they were and nobody had paid the parking so I had to pay The new property was better but was still filthy Banister hanging off Filthy light switch Rat nest 3ft from the back door Arround 47 messages And 27 phone calls in 3 days and they were all ignored WOULD NOT RECOMEND Unless youv pissed me off in the past And in that case ignore all above it's a lovly place with great customer service :)

"Not recommended"

Initially the owner was helpful after we reported a water leak on arrival but he then went on to completely blank me and leave the leak for us to deal with.

No code sent through which needed chasing. Very unkempt front and back garden full of rubbish and over flowing bins. The property smelt of damp and cigarettes. The facilities were very basic with no plugs in sinks or bath. Due to a water leak we had no hot water for our whole stay despite being told it would be fixed the next day. The Wi-Fi was non existent and we were unable to watch TV due to this. I would not recommend

"Disappointing, fine if you only need a bed for the night."

Owner unresponsive, had to call to get the key code, did not respond to email or text messages. Wifi non existant, three towels provided for 4 guest! Owner never responed to these issues. Rubish overflowing in the front, garden overgrown. Food left on oven tray that had gone mouldy. Agree with all the poor reviews. Set your expectations low.

"DO NOT STAY HERE"

NOTHING

No information before 8pm on entry/check in. When I phoned to enquire, was spoken to very rudely, then hung up on. Once entering the property found 3 sets of bedding and towels, when I had booked for 4. No toilet roll, no washing up liquid, no plug for kitchen sink or washing up bowl. No plug for bath. No bin bags for rubbish. The wheeley bins at the front were over flowing. Building work going on next door. Nail guns going off at 0800. Garden was not maintained, grass was 3 foot high. Pots were unsuitable to cook in.
