Bear Cottage

Dave and Frankie were perfect hosts and we both enjoyed the beauty and tranquility of the location.

Bathroom tiles need attention as it was difficult to shut the door. Just a small thing, it would be great to have a fridge with a small freezer compartment for cool blocks. Apart from these small things, we would not hesitate to return.

Beautiful place to stay. So quiet and peaceful. Some amazing walks around the area with incredible views. Hosts were lovely and there if you needed anything.

Nothing all amazing

The location was great, very peaceful and extremely quiet, but not too far away from towns and the beaches. Dave, the host is friendly and helpful.

It was lovely and clean it was so cosy and situated in such a lovely area!

The lack of kitchen utensils as I had taken food to cook and not expected so little there!

It was secluded and in the middle of no where meaning it was very quiet and dark making it really easy to sleep without any noises or any street lights. There was also a swing by a gorgeous picturesque stream which was nice to swing on in the morning.

There was no baking tray to cook our sausages so we had to use a glass lasagne tray instead. The road up there was also very narrow and long which is expected of wales but the limited passing points made it interesting to reverse when someone was coming the other way, so not that I didn’t like it but something to bare in mind if you’re not a confident driver.

The location was perfect, really quite and peaceful. The area is stunning. The cottage was perfect for our needs.

Beautiful rural location with easy access to the hills but not far from local towns and local attractions.
