"Exceptional"

Very cosy,great hiden away location, nice big tv and everything we needed. Excellent host. Really nice walks near by. Dogs loved it. Will stay again.

Nothing to dislike. Maybe a couple more things to cook with like a tray but that's it.

Great location in a hidden valley. So peaceful.

No obvious sign for the actual property, missed it on the way there. No lamp in the living room but that's really nothing.

"Pure escapism, only the sounds of nature to disturb the peace."

The location is amazing, with a river just across the road & forest all around. Wonderful for bird watchers like ourselves & only 10mins away from RSPB Ynys Hir Dave the owner is lovely, never intrudes but always there if you want or need anything. He gave us loads of advice on where to get the best from our stay. Will definitely go back & stay longer next time.

It's a long drive to reach bear cottage along a narrow road, let's just say I'm glad my husband was doing the driving!

"Bear Cottage - worth the tricky drive !!"

The location was AMAZING !!! Without specific instructions I don't think we'd have found it / expected it to be where it is though. Dave was a great host, so friendly. He even drove us to our restaurant and picked us up after the meal !!! Good shower. Plenty of mirrors.

Although the cottage was fairly clean and tidy it could benefit from a deep clean to make it feel more comfortable - as we only stayed one night it was OK.
