Bear Cottage

I loved everything about it- the photos don’t do it justice. Beautiful tranquil location, incredibly well equipped, Dave the owner was so lovely and helpful. Definitely going back.

The location was absolutely perfect, out of the way but not far from the beach and local amenities. The cottage was so adorable and the garden was beautiful. The host was so lovely, really welcoming and gave us recommendations on walks and the best way to the beach.

More cutlery needed. Cupboard doors needed some attention which made the kitchen area look a bit shabby which was a shame

Lovely cottage with plenty of charm and ideal if looking for something off the beaten path. Cosy feel and lovingly looked after.

Honestly loved everything. Maybe just a small bit of milk for teas and coffees.

A lovely quirky home away from home. My 2 dogs were made welcome as were we. A lovely off the beaten track away from it all. Lots of lovely walks from the doorstep.

Very Quiet, free wifi, space and parking, woodland and stream.

Cold until 10-12 hrs of heating got it up to thermostat temp

THE SETTING WAS WONDERFULL PLENTY OF SPACE FOR WALKING AND THE DOGS LOVED IT ALSO

Quiet and secluded, as others mentioned. Beautiful area. Dave friendly and helpful host. Super cute and friendly dogs. The cottage had useful facilities.

Place could do with a good clean - a lot of dog hairs on floor, dusty lamp, dirty windows ... the smell of stale urine in bedroom(?). Small things like provision of towel in kitchen and a little milk would have been good (I forgot and didn't want to venture out again after long drive).
