The location is really great, close to city centre and nice walking next to the river.

The parking space is not enough for 2 big cars, although there is a car park nearby.

Great location. Everything you needed. Provide cling film and kitchen roll.

Could have been cleaner in some places. Very cold on arrival. Would have been nice had cleaner put the heating on.

Excellent location

Really disappointed we were not informed it was a shared garden. One of the main reasons for booking was the garden space for our dog. There is now another holiday let/rental where the garage was at the bottom of the garden. The person staying there was very pleasant but they also had a dog so couldn’t just freely let my dog out. It was also a little awkward in the morning when standing in the garden in pyjamas with the dog when the neighbour comes out for a chat (I had to stand with the dog as the garden was not secure so anyone could walk in from the street). There were visitors arriving to the holiday let and a linen delivery person, all of which walked straight round to the garden so there was absolutely no privacy both in the garden or in the conservatory/kitchen areas. What made things worse is there are no blinds or curtains in the kitchen so you were on full display to anyone in the garden when making a morning coffee.

House is amazing and everything you need.

Parking is an issue. For the size of the house there needs to be more than 1 car able to park.

"Perfect for big family looking for a home from home"

Beautiful spacious house, extremely clean, and well equipped. Very comfy beds with lovely fresh soft bed linen. Guest guide book very informative and helpful. Loved the touch of toiletries in the bathrooms and the kids loved having tvs in the bedrooms so they could chill after a long day out and about in York. The location was perfect on a lovely quiet street.
