The Heathcock Boutique Hotel - Room 1

Bathroom was big and modern. Bed big and comfortable.

The street a bit noisy due to single glazed window.

good location. good range of drinks.

on site breakfast would be better than walking to the village to go to the cafe owned by the pub.

Cleanliness, cosy, warm, large bathroom huge comfortable bed. Full length mirror. Power points by mirrors with excellent lighting. Small fridge, safe for valuables, tea and coffee with fresh milk. Safe and secure. Michelin award chef. Lovely cathedral on doorstep.

Busy road woke us up early. Next time will book a rear room.

I asked to move to Room 2 as this was at the back. This was a really nice room, with no traffic noise. The room was very spacious, as was the bathroom. It was very comfortable. The entrance is completely separate to the pub.

The rooms are on the 2nd floor, up a long and steep staircase. Some people would find the stairs challenging. There was no breakfast on site, but at a linked cafe about 8-10 minutes walk away. This is ok in good weather! After getting the key on the first day, I didn't see any staff for 2 or 3 days, and the room wasn't serviced on a daily basis. That didn't bother me, but it might have bothered some people.

Ideal location for llandaff cathedral, great food and atmosphere.

The shower was a little weak at times.
