Eton House - Self Check-In, Ensuite Rooms & Self-Catering Studios

The property was very nice and serviceable, the micro/oven was very handy, as was free parking.

The only downside was the apartment smelt quite badly of cigarettes, but I appreciate this is somewhat out of the hosts’ control!

Location for work

Anything. I booked because there was supposed to be a "Fitness centre". It was not onsite and when I enquired - it was closed. There was a problem with closing my window (it wouldn't) and the bathroom sink plug (wouldn't unplug). When I rang to explain my problem, the operator would not come out. They were obsessed with the word "send me a video", as though they didn't believe me. In fact the operator told me to use a knife to prise the plug open. As the sign says on the property entrance "Hotel" you would think that they would provide a knife. But they didn't, and I don't carry my own. The "Hotel" refused to replenish my milk sachets and told me to "buy my won milk". I said I would be happy to, but there is no fridge. When I explained that other hotels would have been happy to replenish the milk the operator still refused to help. I need to Booking.com to contact me regarding value for money and reimbursement.

The property was super clean ,easy access. The room has great facilities When speaking to the gateway team ,very friendly Probably one of the best places I stayed.

Couldn't stay longer ,I dont have anything negative to say.

Very clean and well kept

Lots of door codes and self check in stuff. Rainfall shower and wet room bathroom, I hate having to mop the bathroom after a shower! Can't quite decide what it is. Larger room with a sink and microwave and fridge. Table for two. Single arm chair. Can only access bed from one side in room 8. TV over the side of the bed. Can't see it in bed, got to look across the bed to it from elsewhere in the room. Just a bit odd really. Not cleaned daily, no new towels etc. All the pain of a hotel, noise, people coming and going at all hours without the food bits of a hotel, staff ,daily clean, food bar etc.

Free parking, bed was really comfortable, big rain shower was amazing. Location is great, really handy for getting round. Room was well equipped and check in was super easy. There's no staff onsite so they just clean the room after each guest which worked for me for two nights. Also got a free upgrade to a bigger suite which was nice.

Nothing really

I especially liked the complimentary gym. Great for breaking the stress

Only the fact I’d have liked to have stayed longer but sadly had to get home :(
