Eton House - Self Check-In, Ensuite Rooms & Self-Catering Studios

The location

1) Wasn't informed room was on 1st floor no lift as was broken and had sign saying staff use only. 2) No fan in the room 35 degrees outside so room just roasting. 3) On return regularly found men outside the front door smoking and adding to the already there mountain of discarded cigarette butt's. 4) Regular banging of doors in late hours and witnessed argument on our floor with men using foreign accents. 5 NEVER ONCE saw a " member of staff " in or around the building. 6) Room 8 has no seating area and whichever way you cut it its a glorified bedsit nothing more minus of course the ability to sit down anywhere other than a dining table chair

Great building- the apartment was a great size - exceptionally clean with great parking

Nothing I didn’t like about the apartment the only beef I had was that the taxi’s into town were expensive-27 pound return for less that a mile each way

I was kept up all night for 3 nights due to noisey people playing music even though I complained nothing was done

The other guests banging doors late at night as next to the stairwell and early morning. Would have liked to leave a window open to let some air in. Will ask for a first floor apt next time

Large rooms, clean, modern. Comfortable beds.

Good location. Nicely decorated with a modern feel throughout.

The pillows for sleeping were all quite hard so a selection of a few different ones would be great. We stayed 4 nights and almost ran out of toilet paper so a top up for longer stays would help as well as fresh towels given after a couple of days as we had to use the same ones for all 4 nights. The shower was either too hot or too cold and was difficult to get a happy medium. Not sure what the plumbing system is, possibly electric but sometimes the taps wouldn't come on and ypu would have to wait and try again after 10 seconds or so.

No staff very loud guests no sugar or milk but gave a complimentary free late check in
