"Enjoyable stay"

Location was very good. Easy for Tate, Museum, Liver building and shops. NCP car park just around corner at £20 for 25 hours.

Mattresses were a bit too soft. No kettle.

Penso che non bastino i caratteri per scrivere questa recensione. Partiamo dal fatto che non ci è mai stata inviata una mail sul come fare il check in, all’accoglienza non c’era nessuno e non c’era neanche un numero per poter contattare. Via messaggi di Booking ci viene risposto dopo diversi solleciti che il check in ci sarebbe stato alle 15, che potevamo lasciare le valigie nel Ristorante sottostante. Al nostro ritorno non c’era ovviamente nessuno ed abbiamo aspettato più di 20 minuti che una persona arrivasse dal 1 piano per aprirci. Ci accoglie un ragazzo apparentemente appena sveglio ci porta di fronte all’appartamento e ci dà la chiave. Tutto qui. Mancavano degli asciugamani,nessuna pass del Wi-Fi, pulizia dell’appartamento e soprattuto delle lenzuola non ne parliamo nemmeno. Sono stati mandati messaggi ma nessuno ha mai risposto. Non avevamo neanche istruzioni sul check out. Distrastroso

"Good location"

The location is good. Near bars and restaurants. There is free parking in a basement car park. The apartment was a good size.

I contacted the host before arrival asking about the parking. I was told to just call the number when I arrive and they would come out and show us where to park. Arrived about 10:30 am and called the number provided. Turns out that is a number for booking.com. Ended up sending a message to say we had arrived. Didn't get a reply so decided to just drive down to the Albert Dock and park up there whilst we were exploring. .I then sent a message to say we had gone to Albert Dock and would check in later. We booked an apartment with 2 sofa beds and a double bed. When we came to check in I ended up going into the restaurant to ask about how we contact the host to check in. The lad checking us in then appeared as he had been waiting for us. We were shown to our apartment and then he left. We then discovered there were no instructions for the WiFi password. We went to make our sofa beds up so that we didn't have to do it after the night out. Turns out there was only 1 sofa bed and no bedding for it so we then had to contact the restaurant again as we forgot to get his number. He turned up about 2 hours later saying the owners were on holiday and he had been left to deal with it. We couldn't go out early as planned because we had to wait for him to come back. He also said they didn't have an apartment with 2 sofa beds and that it had been booking.com's mistake advertising the wrong amount of beds and to take it up with them. He disappeared and then came back with some bedding and said that they had a spare apartment downstairs that we could also use free of charge so that was nice of them to offer that to use. It looked like the building was under construction inside as it looked like it was being decorated and there were wires hanging from the roof of the walkway to the basement car park. Didn't have the best experience but it is in a good location.

"Do not stay here"

Parking included Location Bathroom and kitchen facilities

We were allocated the wrong apartment The host did not rectify this despite becoming aware shortly after check in We should have been in a deluxe apartment with a king bed , two twins and a sofa bed but were allocated a room with one bed. The host said they would sort it but did not respond to any messages all weekend. One of the group had to sleep on the floor for two nights. The lack of clear communication in the lead up to the stay was worrying.

"Disappointing"

Near to the centre ,large apartment ,

We were told to meet someone at the door at 3 for our keys,nobody arrived took a waiter from nearby restaurant to get any answer after a second attempt we had asked him fir help earlyer. I had rang lots of time and messaged no answer.are room was not even ready the young man an a women rushed off with a mopbucket and a bucket to clean it.it was after 4 by the time we got in,another 2 couples also had same problem and beds unmade.themsn said we should of been sent a pin to enter but none of us received one or were told to use the touch screen outside and go down the list of tenants to find building manager and press for attention. The room was large and nicely done but needed a bit of care and attention, a hole in a wall ,kitchen cupboard door loose,sealant all over the bathroom ,window ledges needed a good clean.no place to hang towel in bathroom.shower very hot no real temperature control.

"AVOID!!!! Completely disappointing!!"

The apartment was in a good location to the cavern quarter and other areas.

Where do I start: Check in was awful, we had requested an early check in which was agreed to be contacted 20 minutes before arrival to say this was no longer possible. We arrived at 3pm and no one was there to meet us, we waited a further 40 minutes for someone from the restaurant to contact the buildings manager and someone finally checked us in. We were given the wrong apartment and 2 of our party had to sleep in single beds when we had been told it would be a double. we then had to wait a furthee 30 minutes for duvet, covers and pillows. The apartment building is awful, it's obviously an old office building that they are converting but we should have been told this before arrival. The handle and lock on the door looked like it has been crow barred in, the microwave didn't work, there was no wardrobe just a clothes rail and 2 bedside tables - god knows what we would have done if we had been there more than 1 night! The windows didn't open so god knows what we would have done if there had been a fire in our corridor. I will now be complaining to booking.com as it was completely unacceptable for the price we paid!

"Avoid, avoid, avoid"

Nothing.

When we arrived there was no one around and couldn’t even get in the building. Eventually a man turned up and said he would “go and get the room ready” after 10 mins he returns and points us in the direction of a room. The lock on the door was broken so took a while to get into the room. Once in the room there was a very strong smell of weed and the fire alarm repeatedly was beeping (if the man had been in cleaning he definitely would have heard this), there was a dehumidifier in the bedroom (which the bed looked like it had already been slept in). There was food and dirt all over the floors in each room, and the bathroom was disgusting. It definitely hadn’t been cleaned. We decided we couldn’t stay so had to go elsewhere. There was 0 communication with the people who owned the property and even after countless messages with photos of the property no one has ever come back to me.

The location is very good as it was really central. Parts of the apartment such as the bathroom and the double bed section were comfortable and as showcased.

Our party was very disappointed with our stay here. Firstly we were not given any details prior of how to check in upon arrival and there was nobody there to check us in when we came. When someone finally did arrive they didn't even verify our booking, just took us straight to an apartment which wasn't the apartment that we had booked. We were then told the attendant would contact someone to fix this but we never saw from them again after that and never recieved the accommodation we had paid for. The kitchen and dining area was sticky and unhygienic. The pull out sofa was covered in stains and we were not given any linen for it. We spent the entire weekend attempting to contact the company but the number provided never answered and throughout the entire weekend we never saw a single staff member present, despite it listing on the booking that there was 24hr security. The booking also did not list that there was a digital lock on the apartment door which as a group of only female travellers felt like a safety risk. We ultimately had to contact booking.com to try and fix these issues, following which was the only time the company made any contact directly with us which itself was less than helpful. All in all I would not recommend staying in this accommodation and feel it should not be listed on booking.com.
