The Captain's Retreat, Quiet 1 Bed Dog Friendly

So lovely and peaceful with a view. Everything so clean and comfortable. Very friendly host. All the facilities I needed (except maybe an ice box).

Excellent accommodation. Well designed, great fresh decor and everything you need for a short break. Really quiet road and ideal location for the coast.

Quiet, pretty location, property is clean, nice decor and facilities. Good parking just outside the front door. Very quick to reach Abbotsbury, and just a little further to either Lyme Regis or Weymouth.

No oven, only hobs, but we ate outside anyway so did not bother us.

Lovely clean accommodation and spacious, everything you needed as well equipped. So peaceful and beautiful views. The host was very friendly and helpful.

The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Lovely location and ideal for walking our dog, Milo. We loved the village pub with lovely food and hospitality. I would look to stay again in future, if visiting the lovely Dorset coast again.

There is not much that I did not like, other than it would have been nice if the main room was a little larger.

Modern and very clean with a well equipped kitchen and fittings of a high standard. Separate bathroom, comfy bed in a quiet location. Good parking facilities, good pub with decent food within a short walk.

Beware of your sat nav bringing you in from A35 as it's a long single track lane - use either of the lanes from the B3157 as they're much better.

Although the accommodation is quiet compact it is very comfortable, well equiped and extremely clean. The location was very quiet with lovely countyside views and car parking.
