Firstly, Ian was so friendly. He collected us and dropped us back at the station which was brilliant because it’s a little way from the house. He also left us some bits in the fridge eg some eggs and even Sake! The house itself is stunning with a lovely outdoor terrace/garden all lit up in the evening. There were only two of us but it could comfortably sleep six. The location is incredible, just step outside your door and you are amongst beautiful nature and shrines (be careful if you aren’t very mobile as the area is very hilly and the shrines have lots of steps - the house is very mobile friendly though with a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor). I would highly recommend booking this property as soon as you can!

Such a beautiful well kept house in the heart of Nikko, so close to the sites and easy transport to the lake. We watched movies and did our washing one of the nights from a long travel leg. The perfect place to reset, wonder around Nikko and just relax.

Wat is dit een ontzettend mooi en fijn vakantiehuis! Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig, het is erg comfortabel en de locatie kan niet mooier! Ian (de eigenaar) is een hele aardige, sympathieke man die het naar je zin wil maken. Wij hadden hier rustig een maand kunnen zitten, zo mooi! :-)

A casa é maravilhosa, super bem equipada, próxima aos pontos turísticos. O Ian foi super prestativo e atencioso, inclusive deixou alguns itens de café da manhã na geladeira, deixou também duas cervejas e um garrafinha de sake. Com certeza se um dia voltarmos a Nikko ficaremos aqui novamente.
