The Garden Square - Unique luxury apartment in historic garden square - ideal for 2 people

It is a basement apartment but plenty of light. A bit rabbit warren like but well appointed and furnished.

Die Liebe zum Detail hat uns sehr gefallen. Frische Blumen, Hygieneartikel, Marmeladen im Glas, Tischdecke...Gute Betten, Infomaterial. Danke für das gute Frühstück welches man individuell erhalten hat.

Für Touristen wäre gut.,wenn die Mülltrennung beschrieben wäre, da wir nicht genau wussten, wo welcher Müll hingehört. Zum Abtrocknen fanden wir keine Geschirrtücher und zum Starten des Herdes benötigten wir die Hilfe vom WWW. Nach dem Entsperren der Kindersicherung funktionierte auch dieser. Wir waren etwas überrascht, dass es eine Einliegerwohnung war, aber die gute Beleuchtung machte die Zimmer hell..

This was one of the nicest properties I’ve stayed in - possibly due to the attention to detail. When we opened the door the first thing that hit us was the ‘clean’ smell, and the whole place was immaculate. The space is used beautifully - from the tiny kitchen to the cleverly hidden fridge freezer. The bathroom was beautiful, and the host went above and beyond with provisions - a beautiful fresh, crusty loaf, with butter, eggs, milk, every kind of jam you can think of, fresh orange juice, chocolate biscuits, tea, coffee, yoghurt, cereal, granola… the list was endless. I stayed here with my sister, and found the sofa bed to be very comfortable. It really was a lovely stay. I’d recommend it for a girlie break, like we had, or a romantic hideaway for couples, or just a great base to explore York. We would definitely stay here again - absolutely lovely property. Nothing. Literally nothing. The only issue I could envisage is that this is a basement flat, so worth noting if you have mobility issues as there are a few steps down to the door. No problem if you’re able bodied though.

An excellent, if anything over generous, welcome package awaited our arrival. Lots of attention to detail throughout. Everything spotless, lots of storage in the bedroom, extras in the bathroom, equipment in the kitchen and so on. Really nice quiet location, about twenty minutes walk from the bustling city centre.

Criticisms are minor, because overall this apartment was great for two people. Four points though: - anyone over six foot would not be able to stand upright in the shower - the kitchen area is tiny. Fully kitted out, but a very small area if food prep was involved - I didn't find the sofa bed comfortable - I couldn't open the windows in the bedroom, so glad it wasn't a very hot couple of days

Adorable apartment in a beautiful neighborhood. Everything you could want and quite convenient to Central York on foot. Highly recommend.

도시의 한적한 주택가에 자리잡은 영국가정집 으로 별채 반 지하층에 있습니다. 반지하긴 하나 채광도 좋고 아늑하고 편합니다. 호텔과 같이 기본적으로 숙박에 필요한것은 다 있고, 편리한 주방도 있고 마트도 벌지 않은 곳에 있어, 맛있는 저녁식사를 준비하기에 불편함이 없었습니다. 시내까지 가는길도 버스를 이용하면 멀지 않고 오는길에 마트에 들려 장을 보고 걸어오기에 적당한 거리에 있습니다. 한달 영국 여행중 York 시내 호텔대신 선택한 숙소였는데 만족스러웠습니다. 세탁기도 있어 밀린 빨래를 할수 있어 더 좋았습니다.

The Location was great, with added bonus of private parking pass. Check in was seamless. The apartment has everything you need, it was clean and the welcome pack was really good and appreciated. A Nice gesture. The host was extremely helpful and answered all our queries quickly. Definitely would stay again at this lovely appartments.

Low ceiling in the shower cabin and a beam with which I got up close and personal a couple of times (I am tall)
