Wastwater Cottage on The Big "W" Ranch

I liked the ambience inside and out. All facilities provided. Kitchen had all utensils. We only stayed for a night, should have booked it for longer to explore more.

Was walking inside barefoot and noticed foot getting dirty too much. The floor needs cleaning. And the bins were not marked properly, rule book mentioned about red and blue lids (I remember) but all the bins had same lids, was confusing so we took all the waste back with us.

In a great location, nice surroundings and fantastic views.

I liked everything about it.

Setting was beautiful nice and clean

heating can not be put on in day we got wet climbing scafell pike and heating didn’t come on till gone 5 30 when book said after 3 pm

The views were second to none. Great area to sit outside and admire the stunning scenery.

It was quitenear where I needed to be.

I thought it was a little expensive but if there was a family then it would work out cheaper .

The accommodation had everything we needed and had such amazing views and such a close location to Scafell Pike. We liked the self check in and everything was explained clearly in the instructions.

Very comfortable and peaceful. The Cottage was well equipped. The whole place is just beautiful & the views were stunning. Communication from the host was great all the way through including clear instructions on getting to the Location. My wife wanted to spend some time with the horses and the lovely lady Rowan who works there arranged for her to be able to ride a horse in the indoor arena which was perfect. She even managed to get us to see the Highland Cows which was a bonus. So big praise to Rowan who is a credit to The Big W Ranch. We will definitely be visiting again.
