"Small things matter."

The location was good. Just 10 minutes walk from the harbour although a stiff walk back up. The interior of the apartment was smart and had a spacious kitchen/living/dining space, with adequate equipment. There were plenty of power sockets in the right places.

Small things matter. The front door was shabby and the front garden was unkempt. The lounge/dining lighting was nonexistent. A feeble three candle power central light in the lounge and nothing over the dining table. There was no bedside light in one bedroom. Our main bedroom light failed and there were no spare bulbs. The bathroom had only a sliver of windowsill to store toiletries, a tiny 'quadrant' shower with no soap shelf, a non- functioning fan and a shower control impossible for ageing fingers to turn.

"In need of some tlc."

Location

Very run down apartment from the outside and inside. Drain flies in bathroom and kitchen so didnt trust anything out on the side of the kitchen. Reading reviews expected it to be bad and people weren't wrong about the place. Would be a lovely place if it had some major tlc.

Whitby is a great place,location of apartment great near all facilities

Not enough tea,sugar and milk and shower too small apart from that everything was great.

"Great location by the Pavillion"

Great location, beds are very comfortable. Property was very clean and tidy.

A few of the windows have broken sash cords so can’t be opened. The lightbulb was broken in the rear bedroom. The kitchen has most equipment you’d need but there are no scissors.

"Great location for a Whitby stay."

Great location for centre of Whitby. Good size apartment for a short stay. Enough room for 3 adults. Good communication from owners and a handy on line guide provided. Free road parking permit for the stay, although parking is where you can find a space.

As with all properties there are a few things that could be improved, there were a few missing items and although main kitchen/ lounge had been cleaned, needed another wipe over. However this did not put us off our stay.

"Havelock place apartment"

The apartment was clean, comfortable and very spacious. It had everything you could need. All the amenities are within easy walking distance and close to the beach.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Location

Curtain hanging off in sitting room, covered in feathers off settee, cobwebs on ceiling and walls, broken bedside lamp, very uncomfortable back bed and rock hard pillows, shower base badly stained
