Rose & Star Cottage

Quirky, beautifully presented little cottage in the heart of old Frome. We loved the Makers Market right on the doorstep and so many independent shops.

A super clean cottage in the heart of Frome. The location of the property is in the historic part of Frome with shops, restaurants, bars on your doorstep. We were there for the Frome Sunday market which is definitely something not to miss. Aimee the host is very friendly and very helpful.

It was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

This a fabulous cottage, perfectly situated in the heart of Frome. It has everything you need and is furnished and maintained to a high standard. Aimee is an excellent and friendly host. We left a bag behind, and Aimee went out of her way to help locate it. Would highly recommend this property.

Rose & star cottage was delightful. It was furnished to a high standard and had everything we needed. The kitchen has dishwasher, oven, toaster, coffee maker and plenty of crockery and cutlery. Frome is a very good location for Longleat, Bath & Glastonbury. It's a delightful town with unusual shops as well as supermarkets and plenty of choice for dining out. The owner has been extremely helpful in giving us information about the town so we could make the best of the trip.Although there is no parking at the cottage I parked on Christchurch road which is 2 minutes walk away. Hope to come here again soon

There was no major dislike but the steep stairs in the cottage would be difficult for someone with mobility issues. The owners have mentioned that in their description

Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin: Begrüßungsgeschenke (Schoki und Getränke) sowie eine sehr offene Kommunikationskultur. Außerdem verfügt das Cottage über eine Spülmaschine und einen Induktionsherd, was beides sehr komfortabel ist.

Große Menschen wie wir müssen aufgrund der frei gelegten Deckenbalken und niedrigen Türrahmen an vielen Stellen gebückt durchs Haus laufen. ;-) Dennoch: Das liebevoll renovierte Haus ist alt und damals waren die Menschen eben noch nicht so groß wie heute. Darum: nicht wirklich negativ, sondern nur wissenswert. :-)
