Kona Islander Inn - Prime Downtown Location with Hot Tub, Pool & Beach

Across the street from a beach. Right in the midst of everything in Kona. Next door to a great farmer's market. Restaurants and shops nearby. Excellent staff.

It was amazing! Perfect location. It felt like home instead of just another hotel room.

It had everything I needed, and the staff were very nice and helpful!

The 140 property was not clean properly plus the kitchen was leaking the sofa smell bad and the plates and utensils in the kitchen is dusty and dirty the fact everything was old and they are very unprofessional to the guest they have a lot of poor and terrible review thats the fact. I dont recommend this place at all.

The room was musty and dirty. The AC unit filter was caked in dust and there was a sign that we had to do our own dishes and take our trash out or we would be charged. There was zero parking and shen we finally found a spot security put a sticker warning sign on our window that still wont come off

The room provided did not match pictures. It was very rundown with many broken items and cigarette burn marks/stains. he "security" that handles check in is very rude and slow. Will not stay here again

Kona islander Inn unit 136 Cockroaches in kitchen area, AC and cooktop on at same time trips breaker, Old AC leaked needed replacement, murphy bed broken and replaced on 3rd day of stay. Advertised as ocean view, was not. Facility was well kept, limited parking, across the road from the ocean, good location. Unit best feature, it had a good shower,. Room probably should be better maintained for the price. The overall experience could have been so much better. The solid flooring and tile in bath and shower helped some. Disappointed...

Very exspensive for what we got. Not to mention we arrived only 2 hours early for check in at around 2 pm and left at 8 pm. Total of 6 hour stay. When I booked the room it said ocean view. It was ocean front but you ciuld not see the ocean from any place in our small room. If you are a smoker you can smoke by the trash bins.
