Apart of York - Walmgate

Well equipped, clean and comfortable apartment, well located for exploring York.

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. There were many thoughtful extras that made us feel welcome. We were able to walk to all locations across York that we wanted to visit. Thank you for a great stay.

Nothing that we did not like.

Hosts explained everything very well, it was easy to find. The appartment is lovely, very comfy and well decorated. It is cleaned, and all facilities are present. The location of the appartment is perfect. You can do everything by walk.

However, it was too noisy. We did not expect such noise from street. Lots of traffic (buses especially). It was probably mentionned by the host but I did not see it. They are earplugs in the bedroom if you need.

There are so many great things about this apartment! The facilities were all you could need and more, it was extremely clean and it was a perfect home away from home for a weekend in York. There were even the added touches of milk in the fridge when we arrived plus some cereal for breakfast left for us and popcorn for an evening snack. The bed was so comfortable and we had 3 great nights sleep here. The location is really good, some great restaurants and pubs on the street itself and a 5 min walk to the shambles. I would definitely recommend this apartment and have already suggested it to my friends and family if they are visiting York. We hope we can return in future.

We were able to message the host when we were on the train up and coordinate access to the flat. The keys were in the lockbox when we arrived. The instructions could not have been easier.

This was a really cosy apartment situated in an ideal location for us, close to a large number of different restaurants and just a few minutes walk from the centre of the city. Despite being right on a busy street, the bedroom was at the rear so we weren't disturbed at all. The instructions for collecting the key couldn't have been easier and everything was very clean on arrival. The bed was very comfortable as well, we had absolutely no complaints and will certainly be looking to book again next year!

En ren, fräsch lägenhet som upplevdes vara lagom personligt inredd. Skön säng med bekvämt täcke. Fint och fräscht badrum. Det fanns fina guideböcker över York med omgivningar. Väl inrett kök med möjlighet att laga mat. Flingor, mjölk, bröd, smör och marmelad fanns att äta till frukost.

The location was perfect, right inside the city walls. The apartment was very spacious, with an amazing bed and full kitted out with EVERYTHING we might need for our stay! The host even helped us find an area for a night out! Really above and beyond

There wasnt anthing we didnt like about or stay, it was superb

Location was superb - could not be better. Host was great and responsive. Wonderfully stock with comfort food and drinks, very helpful after long journey. Access to keys and instructions super easy

Stairs are very steep but added to the charm so we loved them. Really need to upgrade the TV (quite old) to allow for paid TV/youtube etc and would be nice to have Netflix available.
