Sydenham Place - Birmingham City Centre Jewellery Quarter - A Trio of Premium High End Town/Penthouses - 4 Bedrooms & Secure EV Parking

Safe, gated entry. Bedrooms great. Bathrooms excellent. Clean. Large spaces. Warm. Would stay again and hosts very responsive, (but could have been more flexible on check in/out times)

Not as central to city centre as hoped. Bit creepy and quiet at night as located in an industrial area which is still only part gentrified. We were a group of 8 and there weren't enough chairs around the dining room/kitchen table for all of us. In the lounge area, not enough comfy chairs/sofa seats to all relax in either - we were constantly moving chairs from one side of the room to the other and only some of us felt fully comfortable. We spent a lot of time drinking tea/coffee and chatting so would have liked more comfy sofas and enough chairs (8) to all sit around the table together. The intercom did not work at the security entry gate which caused more hassle for one of us to run down and open the gates manually. Arrival people had to phone on their mobile phone and we then had to go down 2 flights of stairs and out into the rain to open the security gate. The check in time of 5pm seemed very late. Extra charges for an earlier check in and later checkout (10am) seemed excessive and inflexible as we had a young child in our group. We all arrived in Birmingham much later than we would have previously done due to this late 5pm check in - this was not made clear at the point of booking this accommodation and will have put us off due to our long journey times to meet in Brum.

A lot of space, 4 great bedrooms.

Car parking space is tight, as is the entrance to parking, only good for a small car.

Beautiful rooms, each with a lot of space and facilities were lovely

Deposit was £350, and took a few days to return. Check in details were only supplied morning of day travelling …and check in is very late 5pm and checkout is 10am.

Spacious rooms, nice and good equipped kitchen, place enough to sit together at the table

The showers, they stopped every few seconds. The beds were pretty small
