Riverside, The European Homestay 1 and 2! Luxury and Value in Goa's delightful location

There is a temple nearby. Since we visited around Diwali, there were bhajans playing on loudspeaker almost all day

What not!!! Everything is good here. Property owner is awesome. Really love this place.

Nothing to dislike

Stayed at this charming home in Siolim , and I had a exceptional experience! The location was good, with a stunning riverview.. not only nestled in a serene area, also close to local attractions, supermarkets and restaurants. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, super super friendly and understanding, always made sure all my needs were met. The room was super clean, cozy and elegant with all the necessary amenities, moreee specifically the first aid kit and a fridge loaded with a few edibles, pretty much something I've never come across! Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay in northern Goa. I can't wait to return!

It was like a home away from home. They have taken care of all the basics needed at homestay. Local market is nearby only. Plus the host helped us in arranging the local transportation which was super.

Thanks to Mr. Majumdar and Miss Sneha for your hospitality. From my experience of 13 vacations in goa Riverside, The European Homestay( yes i copy pasted the name) is the best accommodation ever. p.s: i stayed in variety of places from basic tent type lame huts on the anjuna beach to cidade and exotic of taj. But this homestay hits you different, right from start the caretaker was enquiring and offering route suggestions about my journey to the goa(by car). The check in: no nonsense,no lobby to make you wait, no need to provide your identification while waiting for room , INSTEAD after reaching the location you pick the key from your safe box, and get into your stay. Along with great bedroom there was also this 2 in 1 couch for impromptu activities, Then an as usual eggs(organic and Omega rich variant) , bread , butter and jam along with a mini kitchen with toaster, induction, electric kettle, and fridge. Btw got a pretty good port wine too

That i didn't stay here during my earlier visits

The property was clean and things were working fine. Staff was supportive but at times they used to reply late to the queries but still were responsive. There was interference of any sort and peaceful.

Nothing major, just that response can be quick for queries after checkin.

10-08-24 we stayed here for 2 nights The best home stay in North Goa, if you want a complete piece of mind then this is the best place to be. The host is an absolute gem of a person . We were given complementary breakfast and other essential items for our stay,the rooms are big enough to accommodate 3 people in a room.and the best part Is it's nearby to the UDDO beach which has a beautiful sunset to enjoy. I would really recommend people to come here and enjoy the home stay and the hospitality here. Cheers 🥂

The facilities and nature of the owner were excellent.

The description on booking.com was not on the mark. It was of single bedroom while booking.com mentioned 2 bedrooms. So we have to spend twice.

Peaceful location. Great lake view.

This place is not what it is portrayed as on booking.com.There is no hot water in the shower, water leakage near the living room window, which was never fixed or even looked into by the host Amitava Majumdar Also, there's no daily cleaning as they are marketing on booking.com. Upon addressing these maintenence issues, the host Amitava Majumdar kept on claiming that we were cheap for asking for free things (which was advertised in booking.com such as breakfast, water, coffee, tea and cleaning) he asked us why can't we buy it ourselves, abused and threatened to kick us out of Goa and asked us to vacate the room immediately in the middle of the night. A terrifying experience. He also threatened that he would find us wherever we were and cause problems for us. Seriously, I never faced threats like this. My family was also horrified after this! Booking.com you need to stop accepting hosts like this.
