GBWonderful host! Breakfast was lovely and from arrival we were made to feel very welcome! We suprised her with the dog but she quickly produced a lovely blanket and bowls and made him feel very comfortable and welcome. A big thankyou from John and Sarah and of course Titus 😂

Because of the time changing, got a bit muddled with the timer on the heating, so the room was a bit cold when we returned back at 10pm.
DEWell, were to start? We liked everything. We were welcome by Astley and immediately felt at home. The house is wonderfully decorated and our room was cosy. The dogs welcomed us as well, we seem to be part of the family now :-) Astley is a wonderful host, a kind-hearted and cheerful character, she gave us lots of tips for the surrounding area of things to do. Definitely will come back when visiting the north of Devon again.

NLDe hartelijke gastvrouw Astley. Top. De hondvriendelijkheid, de kamer met alles erop en eraan met een prachtig uitzicht over het Devonse landschap. De tips die we kregen om te ondernemen in de omgeving. We kregen haar National Trust kaart mee, zodat we op enkele plaatsen gratis konden parkeren. Het Gin terras voor het huis om van het mooie uitzicht te genieten.
Het ontbijt was wat vroeg in de morgen van 8 tot 8.30 voor ons als vakantiegangers .
GBGBGBOur host, Astley, was so welcoming with her sweet doggies. Everything in our Sea View room was pristine and stylish. The ensuite shower was perfect too. The Gin Terrace is great for reclining with wine or gin and a beautiful view of hills and sea, sheep and sunsets and for us a gorgeous rainbow in the morning too. Breakfast was perfect, full English with fresh produce and eggs from the farm chickens. Next day our choice was smoked salmon and scrambled eggs-also delicious! Lots of choice of cereals, orange juice, toast and marmalade, coffee and a lovely setting in the dining room too. Astley offered us some helpful tips for easy walks and places to visit. We would love to visit West Lyn Farm again!

GBAstley welcomed us and made us feel at home immediately. She made sure our stay was most enjoyable and gave us lots of information so that we could make the most of it. Breakfast was delicious. The outdoor seating area is a wonderful bonus. We watched the sun set over the sea. We will definitely be returning.

GBYou can quickly understand why so many guests choose to return here. We stayed for a total of six nights in one of the two beautifully decorated rooms and loved every moment. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable, with a wonderfully cosy bed, a great shower, and thoughtful touches with the tea/coffee/hot chocolate, fresh milk each day and CAKE! Breakfast each morning was excellent and set us up perfectly for the day ahead (which tips on where to go next). The gin terrace is a real highlight, offering stunning views across the valley and out to sea, which on a clear day you can even spot Wales. Altogether, our stay was relaxing, welcoming, and memorable. The host, Astley, truly is the icing on the cake and makes the stay even better. I, like many, will be returning and I wouldn't pick to stay anywhere else.
