Little Gem in the Forest of Dean! Hot tub, Private garden, Dog Friendly, Smart TVs and Beautiful Historic Village Location!

Perfect location. Very picturesque and can be used as a great base to travel to other locations like Bath, Bristol and local attractions. The breakfast was perfect, variety for all. Fresh milk and eggs were left for us too. All cleaning materials and washing tablets for dishwasher and washing machine were all included. A lovely vase of fresh tulips was left for us which was a great touch. Hot tub was great and plenty of towels available. Flat was clean and well kept. Local pub was perfect for an evening meal with a menu that would please all. Staff very friendly and polite. We had a fantastic time and blessed with great weather. Staff for the apartment were fabulous, attentive and nothing was too much trouble and got back to us promptly.

The gate that enters to the property could do with having a number 2 on it as we missed the entry to the property but a kind neighbour directed us.

We loved our stay here. The place was immaculate when we arrived and there was a welcome pack of food waiting for us that was a wonderful touch. It is very geared up for families with young children with a high chair and travel cot. The location was perfect with everything we wanted to do all within half hour of the village. The locals were so friendly and the views were beautiful. Would definitely recommend

Instructions to find property not very clear at all took us a few tries to find and lacking on how to setup hot water properly, heaters and shower in flat Travel cot we requested was broken on arrival Coffee machine worked once and then seemed to have a breakdown, and also would be nice if there was coffee table as we had to use the dining bench Weird layout of flat means you take dirt straight into bedroom vs lounge or kitchen area so felt filthy by end of stay Kitchen area lacked essentials for cooking e.g. Foil, condiments etc Poor slow WiFi Shower water pressure very poor so never felt clean and door was broken Sofa was coming apart on one side Not enough breakfast provided to cover our full stay Pet hair found on fresh bedding Garden very unkept and gardener only came to sort when we were checking out who then got in our way Be aware if you aren't early risers the upstairs flat will wake you up due to young kids

Great location in the village, fab facilities, and very comfortable. Jade was brilliant, couldn’t have been more welcoming and accommodating. She has clearly put heart and soul into this property, which supplies everything you could need and more! It was a lovely surprise to find that the hot tub had already been heated up for us when we returned to the flat after a long day of walking Offa’s Dyke.

You have to cross through the main bedroom to access the rest of the flat. It didn’t bother us as we were a small group of 3 friends/family but can imagine this might not suit if you were a larger group. The shower is very weak and we had problems getting it to regulate a good temperature.

Tastefully decorated ground floor apartment. There is everything you need it in, including a TV in each room - sign into your own Netflix etc. The hot tub was heated and waiting for us to use on arrival. We loved it! Great village location with a nice pub a short walk away. Ideal base for exploring the forest of Dean and Chepstow area. One day in Wales, the next in England! Truly a lovely place, handy free parking too. We would definitely revisit. Also dog friendly!

There is nothing to dislike about this property!

Perfect location for all that Forest of Dean has to offer. We were very comfortable in this home from home accommodation and we love the breakfast basket.

Beautiful apartment had everything you needed for your stay with added touches, robes and slippers for the hot tub.

The only thing was the 5.30am wake up from the above apartment everyday but I understand that can't be helped.

The cleanliness of the whole place and the friendly gestures that were left.

I have nothing to complain about everything was perfect.

The lodge was decorated beautifully. And much bigger than we expected . A lovely surprise. In walking distance to a dog friendly pub , bonus .

The garden was enclosed perfect for dogs but few more shrubs would make it more relaxing.
