A unique, off-grid Eco Friendly Beach House.

Property was down a long road then on to a road that needs a few holes filling but to me added the charm to the property . The wood burners were brilliant and gave out so much heat which made it very cosy in the evening especially with the candles lit, making for a lovely atmosphere so nice to be nearly techno free. We lit the outside wood burner while we were using the BBQ that was fabulous and to finish off the evening seeing the beautiful sunset in the sea. Family members used the dingy and paddle boards and had so much fun . Loved that the sea was at the back and a lake to the front .

We think when we go again we would probably light the outside would burner and BBQ to do the breakfast as everything could be cooked at once we put tin foil trays on top of the wood burner to cook bacon and mushrooms the sausages and burgers in BBQ as there are only two gas rings in kitchen so cooking a full English we cooked items in stages but we had taken tin foil trays so kept items hot. But then whose in a hurry when you away

The walk around the bird reserve is lovely

The property was too quirky for us, I missed not having a proper hob and oven to cook with, there is only a 2 ring gas burner, and the oven was so small and not very good, that after taking over an hour to cook some garlic bread on our first evening, we gave up and ate out the next evening. We were very careful with the electricity, but on our second evening it went from 31% to zero within an hour and left us without any power for the rest of the night and next morning.

Loved the interior design and facilities, really unique and distinctive. Property was exactly as described and the owners left a really generous welcome pack and wood burners already laid! Incredibly tranquil location, right between the beach and lake. Recommend for a restorative break.

The location, the house, the short walk to the beach. Cosy wood burners, outside dining. Great place for the family to spend the weekend together. Great hosts, arranged milk bread, eggs and butter as a welcome pack. Plenty of space, a handy fish and chip shop nearby. RSPB Snettisham on the doorstep.

Great location, everything we needed was there and more! Enjoyed the use of the 2 paddle boards

It was all good!! Just the grill didn't wan to stay lit..had to hold in the button whilst recooked our toast
