Clean & homely

The property was very spacious, comfortable and tastefully furnished. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for our 4 night stay. The parking space was an added bonus. We would definitely stay there again.

Zum größeren Supermarkt, zum Meer und zum Zentrum jeweils 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Somit alles schnell zu erreichen. Eigener Parkplatz ist ebenfalls perfekt. Im Haus hat es uns an nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns sehr wohl in der Unterkunft gefühlt.

This was the most comfortable and best equipped place we have stayed in on our month holiday. It felt like home and we were sad to leave. Having the private park out front was such a bonus. Finding a property with parking in Brighton is almost impossible. I even had sea views from the back bedroom

We loved that every room had a tv. Central location in the middle of Brighton. Quite road. Free WIFI Excellent! We would definitely stay here again.

The parking. Although offstreet, it was a challenge parking a Qashqai in the space provided. Opening the car doors could easily damage against the overhanging tiles.

Excellent location, very clean house, well presented. Tim checked in with us while we were there to make sure all was OK. 15 minute walk down hill to the pier and lanes, we mostly got a taxi back due to the steep hill, this was only 6 pounds

Beds were very comfortable. TV apps were a plus as well as location!

In the property description there is no mention that all bedrooms and one bathroom were on the second floor. Because my husband recently had a hip replacement, we would not have booked this property had we known. Also the kitchen utensils and appliances were not clean. The cheese grater in the drawer was still full of cheese, greasy pans in the oven, countertops were sticky and food caked on the refrigerator door. Yet our host surprisingly asked us to empty waste baskets, separate recyclables, and dispose of them outside. If this was rented through AirBNB this would have been expected; however, not expected when renting through booking.com. We have used booking.com for 18 years to book hotels, B&Bs, apartments and homes, and have never been asked to do this. While using the upstairs shower, it shut off completely and did not come back on until I tried it again much later. We had planned to do a load of wash but were unable to because of incomplete instructions and no instruction booklet. We are very generous with a '7' rating.

Great location, walking distance to the city centre but we had an 84 year old with us so used the frequent bus service, which you can get from the end of the street. Lovely tap room at the end of the road with great selection of beers and wine. Also a nice deli / coffee shop in same location. Nice secluded garden. Was lovely to have the parking space - I'm not the best at parallel parking but managed to get in the space after a few back and forths with a medium sized SUV. Place for breakfast if you want it just down the hill, about 5 minute walk.

Home from home with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Absolute bonus for Brighton was having a parking space although it’s quite tight so check your measurements before you book. Communications from the host were fantastic. Quick to respond and no question was too much trouble to ask. Shame it wasn’t nice enough weather for us to enjoy the lovely garden due to the weather but can see what an added bonus it would be on a warm sunny day. Takes about 20 mins to walk into town but beware it’s a very steep hill and includes steps. Taxis are easy enough to get from the rank or uber so wasn’t a problem on the way home of an evening. Thank you so much we had an amazing weekend made better my such a lovely house and comfortable beds!
