The dishwasher is mouldy

We got back to the house around 9.30pm on our first day to find it extremely cold so I called the telephone number provided and sent two messages, but had no response from anyone up until the moment we left the property. Thankfully we managed to increase the heat on some of the room stats, but this took us time and we have never stayed anywhere where the host failed to respond AT ALL to our calls or messages

The property was a lovely size for our group. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped, nice furnishings. Short walk to city centre

As mentioned in previous reviews the dishwasher was filthy, kettle was thick with limescale that was floating around inside, the oven was dirty, no handwash/ shower gel/ shampoo in the bathroom dispensers. No TV in the master bedroom or another of the bedrooms. The main issue is one of parking. The blurb tells you there is parking for one car, there isn't. A gentleman from an adjoining property advised us that we would be at risk of a parking ticket if we stayed where we were parked. There is free parking nearby in a street, I didn't feel my car would be safe there so we paid £42 for 48 hours in a NCP car park. They state that they are new in the area and are competing with the big boys, well you need to up your game and look at your reviews that all say the same. Also the contact needs to answer his phone !!

My partner and I were celebrating our anniversary and wanted to book a night stay in a nice city, and neither of us had been to Bath before so we scrolled for ages and decided on the Solar Sanctuary! From the moment we arrived at the property, we knew we had made the perfect choice. This property exceeded all our expectations in every way. Our main highlights have to be; The impeccable location. The townhouse is situated on a quiet back road, yet, it's so close to the city centre. This made it excellent for exploring the beautiful city of Bath all day without cutting the day short because we have to get back to the place. Having free parking was also a huge plus, especially this close to the city. The check-in instructions were super easy to understand and the communication from the host was amazing. He even called me during my stay to make sure everything was as expected and gave us some really good recommendations of what to explore in the city! It was chilly when we visited, so we didn't make much use of the garden, but we've made plans to return in the summer with friends as the space is amazing. What we did use, however, was the private terrace. It was an absolute showstopper! Watching the sunset over the skyline with a glass of bubbles was magical. The views were breathtaking. The solar panels and energy-efficient design are a fantastic touch, making us feel good about our stay being environmentally conscious. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone, and will be staying with the host again!

Good location in easy walking distance of station and Bath centre. Lovely spacious house, good facilities. excellent value. Comfortable beds and kitchen well supplied with pans, crocks etc

We had difficulty the first day getting wifi, and difficulty contacting help from owner. (Complicated by poor mobile reception in the house, no fault of the property). using the toaster fused the downstairs circuit - had to contact owner again to find the location of the circuitboard Not enough loo paper!

It is clean. The kitchen is spacious. There is a city view from the terrace of the second floor.

The communication is a nightmare! Upon arrival, all the heating is turned off and could not be turned on (it switches off automatically in a second). The instructions ask the guests to contact their team and they can remotely control the thermometer and will respond within minutes at all time. But they did not, I spent the whole evening in cold trying to reach out, no one responded. The so-called emergency line (which should lead to the owner rather than the managing team) leads to the same group of people and is non-responsive as well! After sending hours of messages in Booking messager, via text messages, calls, Whatapp calls, Whatapp messages, they finally replied on Whatsapp around 11 pm when I have already given up and went to sleep with my clothes on. They did turn on the heating for me at midnight, but the whole evening was ruined already. Also they said that they would send a map to assist with finding the parking places. None was sent.

Very spacious and large property within walking distance to city centre! Had all amenities including hairdryers, coffee machine, tea and cereals. Really comfortable stay.

Could not stay longer.
