We were asked to pay a £250 security deposit on arrival. When we checked out, the host claimed we were late and intended to deduct a “late checkout fee” from our deposit, even though our booking confirmation clearly stated that checkout was at 11:00am, not before 10:00am as the host claimed. Since then, the host has ignored our requests to return the deposit. Additionally, the property was not in good condition. It was dirty upon arrival, the toilet seat was missing, a window handle was missing which meant the window could not close properly, and the TV did not work. Overall, the property was not clean and did not meet expectations. We do not recommend this property.

Lots of lock boxes which were not numbered- needed to contact landlord to find out which one. But once in , the place was very nice and comfortable.

The whole experience was poor and we didn't stay at the property. I have lodged a formal complaint with Booking.com

The view across the city was amazing.

The toilet seat was broken, the blinds only came half way down the windows which let light in at the bottom of the window. The tv didn’t connect to the WiFi so couldn’t get any channel on it, despite messaging the owner got a reply to say it should connect but didn’t. The tv in bedroom was literally just a tv, no signal, no channels not a smart tv. The cooker sparked so we didn’t use it. Only 2 mugs both with chips on, I saw this comment on another review. Very disappointing
