the key was located across the street, which I actually liked. It made me feel more secure not to have the lock book right in front of the property. The property listing does not include a washing machine, which I was happy to find in the kitchen.

A bit more instruction about the boiler/hot water heater would have been helpful, but I figured it out. I expect chilly/drafty in Glasgow in December so the inside temp was fine, but some cozy blankets on the couch would have been nice.

Spacious. Clean. Well located, adjacent to the Mitchell Library. Walking distance to the city centre. Near Glasgow University. Easy check in.

Couldn't work the TV. Draughty window in living room. No blind or curtain in the bathroom which has clear windows!

The flat was beautiful, with huge rooms with very big windows allowing for plenty of natural light. It was also clean and very well equipped. Both bedrooms were big and cozy, while the beds were extremely comfortable. The location couldn't be more ideal. It allows for easy access into the city both on foot or by train/bus. There are plenty of cafés, restaurants, bars and shops a few minutes away.

The only downside for us was the check-in, which was a little complicated, especially since we arrived very late at night.

"Amazing flat, huge but few minor bits."

8.0

The flat was spacious and looked like had been refitted recently.

The entrance/stairs - very odd. Old Victorian stone stairs. The front door needs a sign - tried 3 doors before found which one. Front door looks very shabby and one basic lock. Not great security. Cutting knives need sorted - very blunt. Few more utensils needed. Doors need shaved. You cannot shut the doors on any of the bedroom doors.

"Enjoyed our stay, the area and the flat, but could be made better with a few little tweaks."

7.0

The flat is situated in a quiet road, close to both the City Centre and the Finnieston/Argyll Street areas, within walking distance of the City Centre, but Charing Cross station is just up the road, with trains every 15 mins to Queen Street. There is a Tesco Express and Co-Op close by and a wide choice of bars, restaurants, etc. The flat is on the 2nd floor of a red-brick tenement building, with big rooms, high ceilings, comfy sitting room and good kitchen.

I think it might be a good idea to have an info brochure for guests, it took us quite a while to work out the central heating system, so simple detailed instructions would have been helpful. The bathroom is quite small, not a problem, but one of the panes of frosted glass in the window had been replaced with clear glass, which meant it had to be covered with a towel to cut off the view from the flats opposite. There was only one toilet roll provided for a 3-night stay, which meant we had to buy a few more on the last day of our stay, not a good look for a relatively expensive flat.

"Good but could be a lot better for little effort"

6.0

Location, size overall.

TV not tuned, bathroom window has little privacy, beds are small for 6 foot plus, mattress is showing age, no instructions in flat for anything, no door number to find flat. Flat not clean on arrival at 3pm (but cleaning crew came quickly and were good). Owner doesn't seem involved and it shows. Airbnb cash cow.

"Great location to access various parts of the city, but some aspects didn’t make sense for a longer stay for multiple pe"

8.0

The location was amazing and the flat was quite spacious.

There was only one key for the front door of the building and the door to the flat. So with two people staying, it was a troublesome if we didn’t stay together in making sure that one without a key could get in. There were also no paper towels/napkins and one roll of toilet paper for the whole week to split between two people.
