Breakfast

Bed was itchy ， bathroom was not maintained well. Rusty mirrors , toilet not wiped clean. Faucets not washed well.

The breakfast buffet was delicious with a good selection of South Indian dishes. There were also omlettes, toast and fruit for those that needed an option. The coffee was excellent. The location was good--close to a main road where you could find a rickshaw, restaurants and a grocery store but quiet with no street noise. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had hot water, the sheets and towels were nice (and very white) and the rooms had a kettle with some tea and coffee which was a pleasant surprise. The room was very clean and had a decent wardrobe/closet for people who were staying a while.The Management and staff were nice, and the lady in charge of Housekeeping, and Shankar the doorman were extremely kind and helpful.

We had some major problems upon checkin at 12:30am, which the clerk on duty did not seem interested in resolving and he wanted us to pay only cash up front for our 3 night stay. We had reserved a room with 2 twin beds which we confirmed in writing prior to arrival. When we got there, there was just one king. We were told the hotel had no rooms with twin beds. We were angry so they sent up a portable cot that was only suitable for a small child. However, the Hotel Manager arrived the next morning and was apologetic and went out of his way to rectify the issue and make our stay comfortable and enjoyable which was greatly appreciated. The other things that were a negative for me were that the air conditioner was extremely loud (like a helicopter landing), the blanket on the bed was far too heavy and the pillows were not very nice (but that was just according to my tastes).

Staff polite and helping, breakfast was very good.

Location is good, it's off commercial area and in a quiet lane. The rooms are spacious and clean.

They missed cleaning the room one day, there was some miscommunication. So one has to ensure that the manager is informed about the cleaning each day.
