The rooms were dirty and we found bed bugs all over the mattresses. Needless to say we didn't stay there. We're waiting for a full refund. For some reason we couldn't get the refund right then.

Rooms weren't clean and we found bed bugs in the mattresses. We immediately packed up and notified the staff. Couldn't get the refund there and then. They had to notify managers. Still waiting for the refund a week later.
USUSChecking in was really easy, the ladies were nice, and there was enough food at the breakfast buffet for all guests to eat their fills.
The room was disgusting. The sheets had hair and cigarette ash all in both beds, there were bugs in the room, the ceiling and bathrooms were both stained with mystery stuff. The worst part however, the AC wouldn't turn off, nor could we put the heat on, while the weather stayed between 15 and 35 our entire trip. When me and my Fiance, who's from cottageville, brought this up to the night porter, he claimed that it was too late for them to move rooms for us, and was overall very condescending to me (a woman) before I let my fiance (a man) take over the conversation. He also did a lot of trash talking of the other hotels, I assume to keep us at the one we rented.

Difficult to get from street to hotel in rain / darkness. Lamp in room did not work. TV had no news nor ABC / CBS / NBC / Sports. No Guide. Only one set of towels. No Bible in room. Staff was friendly but appeared to be unfamiliar with system. Took a long time to get checked in even with reservations.
