Chestnut Tree House with Hot tub & Sauna

The location is breathtaking and it is truly magical. The hot tub was lovely and the cabin was lovely.

The door to the hot tub had dropped and my partner knocked herself out trying to get out as door was so stiff. That's something that could have been avoided by maintenance by the hosts and I will be seeking legal advice, I have taken photos and a video to show there are no signs nor warnings. Aside from that there are many little things that are not acceptable for such an expensive stay. Two teabags and coffee sachets between 2 for 2 nights. No dishcloth. Nor soap in bathroom which is full of mould. Toilet seat moves, freezer compartment door is missing so food in fridge freezes, the towels are tiny. Handrail is split and 'mended' with string. Both hearths in sauna and hut had not been cleaned out . Lock on door is difficult maybe a bolt would be easier. Both mugs were dirty when we arrived. I understand its glamping that it's not a hotel however at a cost of 657.80 for 2 nights it needs to be far better. I won't return nor encourage anyone to visit.

It was an absolute dream! So unique, so cute, private sauna and hot tub, switch off from the world. Perfection

Only negative I would say, which I hate to say because we loved it, is that there were no logs for the sauna. We ended up foraging for some wood that had fallen off trees which worked fine but would just say that the communication around that fell down a little. But everything else was truly perfect and we made it work

I loved the feeling of being off grid and enjoying the hot tub with the rain on your face. The sauna was lovely especially looking out of the glass window at the stunning views. So cosy and definitely the re charge I needed.

The drive to the cabin was difficult after we had come back from dinner. It is very hard to see and would benefit from lighting to see the sides of the drive. My little Peugeot struggled getting up there

I liked the property and location it was a was rural and privet as expected.

It was cold, the fire wasn’t lit and no heating was on. Some of the cups provided were dirty, with some dirty water in them. No matches proved to light the fires. Communication was delayed and we were expected to pick up matches from the barn. The slats o the bed were dirty with dust. It felt very impermeable. Tea and coffee sachets were provided but with only 3 milks sachets, not enough to make the drinks provided.
